NWS Manville, NJ 10/11 Results: Legends Galore: Former WWE legends "Superstar" Billy Graham & Don "The Rock" Muraco & Terri Runnels & The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff, Plus Former ECW Stars Raven vs. Danny Doring, Former WWE star The Patriot vs. Former ECW Brawler The Equalizer, Former WWE Tag-Team Champion "Romeo" Roselli vs. Myke "G.Q" Quest, Rhett Titus vs. Danny Demanto, And More!

National Wrestling Superstars returned to its favorite central Jersey venue, and the home of the annual J-Cup Classic, the Manville VFW Hall on Saturday night October 11th for a night that no one will soon forget. The Hall was filled with pro wrestling legends who appeared earlier in the day at the annual Legends Of The Ring convention, as well as easily 300 happy and loud fans, who were thrilled all night by both the legends and the in-ring action.
Before the show, the fans got to meet such former WWE wrestling luminaries as "Superstar" Billy Graham, Don "The Rock" Muraco, Terri Runnels (a.k.a Marlena), Nikolai Volkoff, The Iron Sheik, "Romeo" Roselli, and "America's Hero" The Patriot, as well as former WCW stars Raven and "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan.
In a wild six-man tag-team opening match, Nate Mustang & Rich "Ice Pick" Lowinski & Nikko The Monkey Man defeated J.D. Smoothie & Antonio Malave & Corey Havoc when, after a wild brawl all over the ring, The Monkey Man reversed a gorilla press slam attempt by Havoc into a hurricanrana and rolled him up for the 1-2-3.
In a Falls-Count-Anywhere Match billed as "Cowboy vs. Indian", The Evil Indian Medicine Man Draven defeated The Jersey Cowboy. The two battled all over the arena and even all the way onto the sound stage, where Draven piledrove The Cowboy off the stage and through a table, and pinned him for the victory.
In a non-title grudge match, newly-crowned NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion Rhett "The Threat" Titus defeated Danny Demanto (with manager Royce Profit). The two veterans fought a hard-hitting high-impact match that saw dozens of near falls and had the fans on the edge of their seats. At one point, Demanto locked Titus in a Camel Clutch and started mocking WWE legend The Iron Sheik who was signing autographs nearby. An enraged Sheik came over to ringside and whacked Demanto with his cane, breaking the hold and bringing the crowd to their feet. Titus eventually won the match when he escaped a powerbomb attempt from Demanto and leveled him with his "Jet-Ski" legdrop and pinned him 1-2-3.
In a bonus match, The Shadow vs. Ryan Angus was declared a no-contest when former ECW'ers "Dastardly" Danny Doring & The Equalizer and Danny Demanto inexplicably ran into the ring and attacked both combatants, only to be chased out by former WWE star "America's Hero" The Patriot. The Patriot demanded that his match with The Equalizer, scheduled for later on, take place right now. The fans were unanimous in wanting the match right now, so Commissioner Gino Moore expelled Doring and Demanto from ringside and called for a referee.
Former WWE star "America's Hero" The Patriot defeated former ECW brawler The Equalizer (with manager Royce Profit). As in their past meetings, the two brawled all over the building, enlisting chairs, tables, and garbage cans in their attempts to defeat each other. The Equalizer missed an attempt at a flying splash onto a chair-covered Patriot, who subsequently powerbombed Equalizer and pinned him 1-2-3. After the match, Danny Demanto and Danny Doring returned to ringside and joined Equalizer in a three-on-one attack on The Patriot. Things looked even bleaker for America's Hero when former ECW hardcore icon Raven, and WCW evil mastermind "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan came out to the ring. Royce Profit welcomed Raven and Sullivan into the ring to assist them in destroying The Patriot, but Raven and Sullivan stunned everyone by attacking Royce and his cronies and driving them out of the ring, to the delight of the fans. Raven challenged his former ECW alum Doring to a match later in the evening, saying he could have manager Royce Profit in his corner while Raven would have the mastermind Sullivan in his corner.
In a grudge match, newly crowned NWS Jersey Shore Champion Myke "G.Q." Quest retained his title against former WWE tag-team champion & Heartthrobs member "Romeo Roselli". After the falling out by these two former friends at the last Manville show, they tore into each other with a vengeance. After a wild match, Roselli hit a Rock Bottom on Quest but failed to get a three-count because he had knocked out the referee. Quest ducked a second attempt and superkicked Roselli, and the groggy referee made the 1-2-3 count giving Quest the victory.
In a battle of former ECW'ers, Raven (with "Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan) defeated "Dastardly" Danny Doring (with Royce Profit). As expected, the two battled ECW-style in and out of the ring, using chairs and any other available objects. Royce Profit's attempt to interfere late in the match was thwarted by Sullivan, who threw Profit in the ring and stomped the life out of him. Raven eventually drop-tole-hold'ed Doring onto a chair, followed by his patented Evenflow DDT, which got him the 1-2-3 victory, sending the fans home happy from this memorable night of wrestling legends and wrestling action.
NWS returns to action on Saturday night November 1st at the Italian-American Social Club in North Plainfield, NJ, and one week later on Saturday night November 8th at the Central Regional High School Gym in Bayville, NJ.
