NWS Internet News Update For Week Of 5/31
Hello NWS fans! This is your weekly update on what's happened, what is happening now, and what is going to happen soon in the nation's leading family-friendly pro wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars.
Upcoming Shows This Weekend
No shows scheduled this weekend.
NWS next returns to action on Friday night June 11th, when they debut at the Long Hill Township Community Center (264 Warren Avenue in Stirling, NJ, at Valley Road, minutes from I-78), with a 7:45pm bell time.
Headlining this show will be no less than four former WWE TV wrestling legends. Former bad boy Salvatore "Don't Call Me Pinky" Sincere will see in-ring action. The original diva of the WWE, the lovely Sunny will be in also Stirling, along with former World Heavyweight Champion and hall-of-famer The Iron Sheik. And, making his first ever appearance for NWS will be recent TV sensation "The Big Val-bowski" himself, Val Venis.
In addition, the fans will witness a tag-team grudge match two months in the making, as the veteran team of "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto & 2010 J-Cup Tournament champion John "Tap-Out" Walters takes on a pair of highly touted newcomers, The Lone Rangers (former WWE developmental star Pat Buck & Jay Silva).
Also in action will be NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, and Cruiserweight Champion Jumping Joey Janela, plus The Jock Mafia (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea), "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, "Too Hot" Steve Scott, a guest manager who we only know as Goop, and much more, including none other than Mayor Emeritus The Honorable Al Licata as a guest ring announcer.
Tickets are only $20 and all seats will be right up at ringside.
Tickets are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major charge cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
