….

On a warm night, National Wrestling Superstars returned to the Edison Fall Festival for the fourth consecutive year and the people in attendance forgot about the bands playing, the rides, the food, all to surround the ring to see NWS stars in action.

The opening contest was a non-title match as Cruiserweight champion Mikey Pacifica met Prince Camel. The Prince was accompanied to the ring by his manager, the Canadian Hockey Goon Rocco Dorsey and his body-guard, the returning Corvis Fear. When Pacifica went to NWS management about the possible 3 on 1 situation, he was told (and Dorsey/Fear warned) if anyone got involved in the match, they would be suspended. Well, it appeared that referee Quick Count Dillon needed another pair of eyes because it was a 3 on 1 situation the entire match. Whenever Pacifica would gain an upper hand, either Dorsey or Fear would distract Dillon and cause Pacifica to lose his momentum.  After almost 8 minutes, it was too much for the champion to handle and he was pinned by the Prince 1-2-3.

The second bout was also a championship bout pitting Jersey Shore champion Nicky Oceans against Slayer. Oceans, who has gotten better on the microphone lately, informed the ring announcer that he was not only the Jersey Shore champion, but also part of the NWS tag team champions and FwF (Delaware) Cruiserweight champion. He also promised those watching that he was out for "more championship gold" and wanted to meet every wrestler who carries a title, not only in NWS, but anywhere, anytime.  When Slayer was announced, Oceans ran outside the ring and said "I said I'd meet any wrestler, not a madman like him" (referring to Slayer) and tried to leave the ringside area. Commissioner Gino Moore told him "you step through those curtains, you lose two out of the three belts you have and you'll be suspended for 30 days". Moore then ordered the referee to count and "leave out the odd numbers". Oceans made it  back to the ring and Slayer looked like a man (?) possessed and hungry for gold. But the champion quickly resorted to cheating tactics and gained the upper hand. This match went almost 13 minutes with both Slayer and Oceans going all out and when it looked like Slayer had the match won, Oceans used the ropes for the 1-2-3.

Next was another visit by Fear and Dorsey, this time with the Japanese Sandman, Kaibootsie. Kaibootsie was set to take on the masked Goal-Dun (with Cartman by his side), but when he saw Kaibootsie's entourage, he went and got some help of his own in the NWS Clown. Dorsey said "that's not fair, everybody knows that Kaibootsie is afraid of clowns". Once the match started, it was again 3 on 1 until Goal-Duh made a comeback and attacked Dorsey, Fear and Kaibootsie (hitting a leg drop on him). When he went for the pin, Dorsey pulled the referee out of the ring and Fear went in, double-teaming the masked behemoth until the Clown entered the ring, causing the referee to declare the match a non contest.

NWS officials, not wanting to disappoint the fans, immediately signed a tag team match pitting Corvis Fear and Kaibootsie against the Clown and Goal-Duh. Kaibootsie would not enter the ring when the Clown was in action and it became almost a two on one for the Clown and Goal-Duh. After nearly 10 minutes of action, the Clown went to the top rope for the whoopie cushion. However the ropes were wet and would up hitting an elbow on Fear for the win.

NWS returns today with two shows featuring Jimmy Snuka, Short Sleeve Samson and more with shows at 4pm and 7:45pm.
