NWS Results From Middletown, New Jersey

On Friday night, July 27th, National Wrestling Superstars held the second of four shows on their Summer Sizzlin Tour at the Middletown VFW in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, NJ.  The crowd, over 300 strong saw a great night action and proves once again why National Wrestling Superstars is the #1 promotion on the east coast today.

Match #1
Before the first match was started, the J-Cup Tag Team winners, the Trojans (formally the Gemini Trojans) came out and issued an open challenge to any tag team from20any company. Then out came Dark Karnival who said they would not only accept their challenge, but defeat them. Unfortunately, the Trojans proved why they are a dominate force and why they won the J-Cup by cheating behind the referees back and scored a pinfall for the win.

Match #2
Six Man Tag Match featuring former Jersey Shore champion Nicky Oceans and his partners, returning to the ring after a long absence Shock and Skitzo taking on the team of Mighty Mikey Pacifica, Michael Reigns and Corey Havoc. The match was pretty much even when at the end, Shock and Skitzo were battling Reigns and Havoc when Sal Sincere and JD Smooth came out and interfered allowing Oceans to score a pin on Pacifica. An irate Pacifica told anyone who would listen that he was tired of Smoothy and issued an open challenge for the August 22nd show in Shark River and that he was bringing a partner to watch his back for a change.

Match #3
Special Grudge Match
Klondike Kevin Krush asked for a one on one match after dealing with The Equalizer at an NWS event in May. And as it is sometimes said, be careful what you wish for because The Equalizer came to ringside with manager Royce Profit (reportedly the illegitimate son of Eric Simms from ESS Promotions) and while Krush did show signs of light, it was The Equalizer who dominated the match and defeated Krush in about 9 minutes (with a lot of help from Royce Profit).

Match #4
Inter-Gender Tag Team Match
Royce Profit came out and announced that this was indeed an inter-gender tag team match. He also read the following: “Attention evernyone: Unfortunately, Trixie Lynn (Lacey V on Erich’s replacement) did not complete her paperwork in time and therefore, she would have to compete alone”. Commission Gino Moore came out and says “Profit, you already have a tainted victory tonight and I am thinking of reviewing the tape to see if I might reverse the decision”.  Moore also said “it might behoove you to allow me, as the commissioner of the NWS, to bend the rules a little, so in the spirit of good sportsmanship, Trixie Lynn will be given the opportunity to go into the back and try to find a partner”. Royce, was irate but said “ok, but nobody will be stupid enough to be her partner”. Trixie went to the back and after 10 seconds or so, came out with America’s hero, The Patriot. The match was on…The Patriot and Trixie Lynn vs Angel Orsini and JD Smooth. Before the match was started, Moore told Profit “since you are the manager of Orsini and Smooth, it’s only fair that Trixie and Patriot have a manager as well. Therefore I am appointing a manager, the former ECW TV star Gorgeous George”. Once the match got started, Profit turned out to be the deciding factor and Orsini and Smooth won the match. Trixie demanded a rematch, and Commissioner Moore told her that The Patriot was unavailabl e for the next few shows, so she could choose a partner of her choice. She looked around and saw former NWS Cruiserweight champion, Gavin Quest standing near the food court and asked him. The match will take place on Saturday in Long Branch.

Match #5
Tables Match
Danny Demanto (with body guard Dr. Lamar Braxton Porter) challenged former ECW, WWE and TNA star Matt (Spike Dudley) Hyson to a tables match. The two battled all around the building and when the pair went back into the ring, Porter hit the ref and he want down. Demanto and Porter put Spike through a table and when the ref woke up, declared Demanto the winner. Demanto and Porter were still beating on Spike when Al Snow and The Patriot came out for the save.

Intermission

Match #6
6 Man Tag Team Mayhem
Dan Rageous, Bobby Firehawk and Shane O’Brien def Jumpin Joey Janella (dressed in a banana outfit), Nikko the Flying Monkey and B. Fehrm when Rageous pinned the Monkey

Match #7
Main Event
Al Snow (with the Head) vs Dr. Lamar Braxton Porter (with Danny Demanto). Al Snow and referee Sgt. Jimmy Storm battled over Snow’s trying to use Head and Storm, showing authority, finally got Snow to put Head in the corner. Then it was all action as both Snow and Porter (with help from Demanto) wrestled for nearly 20 minutes with lots of hard hitting action. The referee was knocked down by Snow and head NWS official Kenny Edwards made his way to the ring, but was clotheslined in error by Al Snow. Both Snow and Porter got a chair and slammed it on the mat, appearing that both had used it on each other=2 0while the refs were down. But Porter (after some prodding by Snow) jumped to his feet and as Storm was about to throw the match out entirely and while his back was turned, Snow hit Porter with Head and scored a pinfall. Then it was another two on one beat down with Demanto and Porter taking on Snow when Spike Dudley came to the rescue.

After order was restored, Commissioner Moore announced that in lieu of all that happened, he was sanctioning a first ever, two out of three falls Tables Match for Saturday, July 26th in Long Branch at the IAMA Showgrounds (195 West End Avenue in Long Branch).
