NWS Results From Red Bank, NJ 11/21: TNA Star Kip James, Former WWE'ers Cherry & The Patriot & Sal Sincere, ECW Alum The Equalizer, High Fliers From CHIKARA & More From This Pre-Thanksgiving Spectacular

National Wrestling Superstars returned to Red Bank, NJ after a nearly two year absence, and the fans were certainly ready, as an enthusiastic crowd of over 300 packed the ringside seats and bleachers of the Red Bank Catholic High School Gym to see a pre-Thanksgiving spectacular that certainly satisfied their wrestling appetites. (Note: No turkeys were harmed during the making of this show.)
NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie & Antonio Malave defeated The BS Express, who were making their NWS debut. The Express showed a lot of promise, but the wiley veterans Smoothie & Malave pulled out a victory after Smoothie hit one of the Express with his title belt after they had hit a double flapjack slam on Malave, then pulled Malave on top of the Express member for the 1-2-3.
In a six-man tag-team brawl, new NWS Heavyweight Champion Danny Damanto & former ECW'er The Equalizer & Corey Havoc (with Royce Profit) defeated former WWE star "America's Hero" The Patriot & The Mummy & Klondike Kevin Krush. This match spilled all over the arena, especially between The Patriot & The Equalizer who have had a heated rivalry in NWS over the past few months. The match ended when Demanto hit a wicked-looking flying stomp on Klondike pinned him 1-2-3.
In a battle of former NWS Junior Heavyweight Champions, Nicky Oceans and Rob Eckos fought to a time limit draw. These two fought a hard-hitting and high-flying battle, and the bell sounded to end the time limit just as Rob Eckos hit a superkick on Oceans and was about to pin him. Eckos asked for five more minutes, but Oceans responded "I don't do overtime" and left the ring.
Former WWE Smackdown diva Cherry (with The Fighting Elvis) defeated Miss April (with Royce Profit & former WWE bad boy Salvatore Sincere). Sal was ejected from ringside as Commissioner Moore only allowed Miss April one manager. The relative newcomer Miss April proved her mettle against the WWE alum Cherry, but after Royce Profit tried to interfere in the match and was slapped by Cherry, Miss April leaped after Cherry only to collide with Profit instead. Cherry then rolled up Miss April for the 1-2-3. Sal Sincere returned to the ring along and threatened Cherry. Rob Eckos tried to come to her rescue but Profit's other cronies hit the ring as well, and it looked like certain doom for both Eckos and Cherry, until TNA star Kip James (a.k.a WWE alum Billy Gunn), who would be facing Sal in the main event that night, ran in from the back to chase Profit and his gang away.
Jumping Joey Janella emerged victorious in a five-man Texas-Tornado High-Fliers match also featuring Dan Rageous and CHIKARA wrestlers Golden Lynx, O-phid-e-an, and Frightmare. These five took to the air in every direction in and out of the ring, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. In the end, it was Jumping Joey who emerged victorious after hitting an elevated Diamond Cutter on Frightmare.
TNA star Kip James (a.k.a former WWE star Billy Gunn) defeated former WWE star Salvatore Sincere (with Royce Profit). Sal tried to get Kip James disqualified because he also wore pink to the ring, claiming that color of ring attire was his and only his. That being unsuccessful, Sal went after Kip with his brawling tactics and some tricks to boot, including tring to choke out Kip with his whistle, but the veteran Kip prevailed, and nailed a Famouser on Sal followed by the 1-2-3, sending the crowd home happy.
