National Wrestling Superstars Results From Union

As the saying goes “the hits just keep on comin”, and no we’re not talking about WCBS FM Radio, but National Wrestling Superstars who continues to draw the fans to their action packed shows across the northeast. The latest chapter happened on Friday night, February 15th at the Union (New Jersey) Elks Lodge before over 250 cheering fans who started lining up outside the doors almost two hours before the opening bell.

Match 1

The Q.T. Pies (Myke “GQ” Quest & Rhett Titus) took on Team Champions (Jersey Shore champion Nicky Oceans and Cruiserweight champion J.D. Smooth). The opening saw Titus and Oceans battle it out before Smooth and Quest entered the fray. The fans definitely played an important role in the match as they were cheering the Q.T. Pies and heckling Team Champions. After some smart moves by Quest and Titus, Rhett scored the pinfall over Nicky Oceans.

Interruption

Before the start of the second bout, Sal Sincere, the Baghdad Bullies and Moehoward Gottheheaves al-getz came to the ring and shot a loud, obnoxious promo on the Patriot and Brutus Beefcake giving both fair warning to “leave the building and nobody will get hurt”. Finally, Commissioner Gino Moore came to the ring and ordered the intruders to “leave the ring or they would not wrestle tonight”. After al-getz had a little get-together, all the wrestlers left the ring and the show continued.

Match 2

Battle of the Big Men

Brian Harley (with Sal Sincere as his manager) def Fred “Bonecrusher” Sampson with a lot of help from Sal Sincere. This is not to say that Harley did not inflict enough damage on his own. After nearly 8 minutes, Sincere distracted the referee and tossed Harley a chain, who hit Sampson and knocked him out, then scoring the win. While Harley and Sincere were celebrating, Commissioner Gino Moore told the crowd that he had had enough and that Sincere was barred from ringside until his match in the main event. Moore then set up a rematch between Harley and Sampson on the next area card. A special stipulation was added…all managers will be barred from ringside.

Match 3

The Patriot, Indian Brave Draven and The Zombie (from the old ECW) def Equalizer, TNT and S. Insane (with Moehoward Gottheheaves al-getz). This match had fans on their feet during the entire 14 minutes of the bout with Draven, The Patriot and Zombie pairing up against the evil-doers and seeing the Patriot, Draven and Zombie score the pin. After the match, al-getz went to the back and brought out Harley, Smooth, Oceans and Saibootsie for an 8 on 3 beatdown before Brutus Beefcake, Quest, Titus, Chris Steeler, Nick Gregory and Bonecrusher make the save.

After an intermission, the second half of the show got underway.

Match 4

Luchador Antonio Malave and Mighty Mikey Pacifica (complete with red and black cape) went to a 10 minute time limit draw. Malave looked like he had control for most of the match, but Pacifica did show some promising moves and looked like he had Malave set for the finish. At the 9+ minute mark of the match, Pacifica had Malave down in the middle of the ring and put his cape back on and climbed the top rope, hoping to score a pinfall on his Latin opponent. However, as he was flying (cape and all), the timekeeper rang the bell, signaling the end of the match and it was declared a draw. Fans chanted “five more minutes”, “five more minutes” and both parties agreed, but before the match got started, Malave left the ring telling the promoters “I no understand”. And “no mas”.

Match 5

This was a rematch from the last time NWS was in Union County that saw Mr. Nick Gregory and Chris Steeler def the team of Kibutsie and Saibutsie (with Moehoward). The Japanese team had the match well in hand, keeping Gregory from tagging his partner into the ring. Steeler kept looking for a tag and finally pushed the referee aside to try to help his partner, but referee Kenny Edwards pushed him back to his corner. Finally, Steeler tagged in and assaulted the Japanese duo before scoring the pin on Kaibutsie for the win.

After the match, while Moehoward was escorting his Japanese charges back to the locker room area, The Equalizer appeared out of nowhere and brutally attacked Gregory with a wet floor sign. Security and referees separated the two giants, but both wrestlers kept pulling away to get to one another. Finally, Commissioner Gino Moore came to ringside and ordered the assaults to stop and signed a match between the two at the next area event.

Match 6

Main Event

Brutus The Barber Beefcake strutted his way to the ring to take on former WWE alumni Salvatore (Don’t Call Me Pinky) Sincere. This match went almost a half hour (much of it being used on the microphone by both Beefcake and Sincere) before Beefcake caught Sincere in his patented Sleeper Hold. Once asleep, Sincere’s manager Moehoward Gottheheaves al-getz tried to attack the former WWE star but was quickly put to sleep himself. When he woke up, he had a new haircut, courtesy of Brutus The Barber Beefcake.
