National Wrestling Superstars (NWS)
Returned to the Killingly Memorial School
In Danielson, CT On New Years Eve 2007, to end 2008 with a bang.
 
            Doors open at the Killingly School at 2:30pm.  The free event that was part of Danielson’s New Years Eve fair.   The fans were greeted by many of the stars wrestling that afternoon; WWE Hall of Famers Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, former WWE and WCW star The Patriot and Ox Baker. 
 
            The ring announcer announced that the show would began at 3:15pm to give a chance for more fans to arrive since it was still a work day for some.  He also announced Jimmy Snuka, The Patriot, Tony Atlas, Salvatore Sincere, The Blue Meanie, Ox Baker, and Doink the Clown and former WWE Developmental Star Kevin Matthews were all in the building for this huge event.
 
            Roughly around 3:15pm the ring announcer was about to ask the for the National Anthem to play when he was interrupted by Ox Baker’s group of Salvatore Sincere, King Kaluha, Danny Demanto, and Kevin Matthews.  Salvatore Sincere wanted to wish all the fans of Danielson a Happy New Year and hoped they all get flat tires on the drive home.  Danny Demanto took the microphone and said that the Blue Meanie would be driven out of wrestling when he was done with him.  The hole time they were cutting their promo Ox Baker was signing “America the Beautiful”.
 
Match 1
n      NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smooth defeated Mikey Pacifica when JD Smooth hit a version of a piledriver.
 
Match 2
n      The Blue Meanie (a real ECW wrestler) hit a Stone Cold Stunner on Danny Demanto to get the win.  This was a real comedy match.  A small chant for BWO from a section of the crowd.  Demanto played the chicken heel real well.  At one point the sound guy played the “Chicken Dance” song over the PA and Meanie did the “Chicken Dance” in the ring.  After that Demanto challenged Meanie to a dance off.  The fans were very much entertained by this.  
 
Match 3
n      The Patriot and Doink the Clown defeated Kevin Matthews and Antonio Malave when Doink “Sunset Flipped” Malave.  After the match Kevin Matthews, Antonio Malave, and Danny Demanto (who ran out from the locker room after the match) attacked Doink and the Patriot.  Tony Atlas, The Blue Meanie and Jimmy Snuka came from the locker room to make the save.
 
Intermission
n      The Patriot, Tony Atlas, Ox Baker, Jimmy Snuka, and the Blue Meanie went to the tables to sign autographs for the fans and take pictures with the fans.  Doink the Clown went to the ring for photos in the ring.
 
Match 4
n      Nicky Oceans and Rhett Titus went to the 10 minute time limit.  This match saw a lot of arm bars and head locks.  With a minute left of the match Rhett Titus took over but the bell ring before he could pin Oceans.
 
Match 5
n      “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas vs. King Kaluha (with Salvatore Sincere and Ox Baker) was the match.  Through out the match Sincere and Baker both got involved in the match and attacked Atlas.  At one point Tony Atlas left the ring and went to the locker room.  Kaluha was celebrating in the ring until Atlas returned with The Superfly.  NWS officials made the main event for the afternoon.
 
Main Event
n      “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka and Tony Atlas defeated Salvatore Sincere and King Kaluha when Snuka hit a splash from the middle rope on Kaluha.  
 
It was an entertaining event for the fans that were into the show all afternoon.
