WITH J CUP TAG TEAM & RIKISKI…

NWS In South River This Friday 1/25 With Second Annual Jersey J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament, plus Rikishi, The Blue Meanie, The Patriot and More

There are only a few days left to buy your tickets and make your plans to be in South River, NJ this Friday night January 25th, as National Wrestling Superstars, the nation's leader in family-themed pro wrestling entertainment, presents a night of unparalleled pro wrestling action at the South River, NJ VFW Hall, 31 Reid Street (right off Main Street, minutes from Routes 1,9 18,35,36, the Turnpike & Garden State Parkway) at 7:45pm.

Even though NWS goes all out to be "family-themed" entertainment, the action always goes a little more "extreme" every time they come to South River. (Maybe it's something in the water, nobody knows.) But this Friday, the fans will have more than one reason to be extremely excited about what's in store for them once the bell rings.

First off, NWS will present the second annual Jersey J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament, an eight-team elimination tournament that will see a field of outstanding tag-teams from the tri-state area, and even a pair from TV wrestling fame, compete. Reigning NWS Tag-Team Champions The Psychedelic Studs (Nicky Oceans & Ace Darling) will be looking to add to their trophy case by winning this tournament. Former WWE and WCW TV superstar "America's Hero" The Patriot will join forces with former ECW TV star The Blue Meanie; they have a personal score to settle with The Psychedelic Studs, and would love nothing better than to meet and defeat them in the ring. They will join a field of other worthy competitors that includes The Wild Breed, The Gemini Trojans, Self-Employed, J.T Highlander & Ryan Rumble, and Bobby Piper & Boris Nobika

And the other reason to get excited about this Friday night is the appearance of another former superstar from WWE television, the man who patented the "stinkface" (and no doubt will be looking for his latest victim in South River), the one and only Rikishi.

Tickets for this event are still available (but are going fast), and are only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors, and are available by calling NWS at 1-732-888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Remaining seats, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
