A Headshrinkers Reunion Of Sorts As Former WWE Stars Rikishi & Samu To Headline NWS Double-Shot Weekend 4/16-4/17 In Carteret, NJ, Tower City, PA Plus 4/18 Afternoon Show in Christiana, DE
The nation's busiest and most popular wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars, returns with a triple-shot weekend April 16th in Carteret, NJ, April 17th in Tower City, PA and April 18th in Christiana, DE, proving once again they are the businest pro wrestling company anywhere.
Friday night April 16th, NWS returns to Carteret, NJ's Holy Family Church (213 Pershing Avenue, just off Washington and Roosevelt Avenues, minutes from the NJ Turnpike) with a 7:45pm bell time.
Topping the bill that night is a true WWE TV legenda former member of the WWE championship tag-team The Headshrinkers... ... a member of pro wrestling's famous Samoan wrestling family... and most importantly (to his opponents) the master of the dreaded "Stinkface"... he's the one and only Rikishi. Normally, when a wrestler turns his back on you, that's the time to take advantage and strike... but when Rikishi points his 300-pound-plus backside in your direction, you best just get out of the way.
In addition, there will be a tag-team grudge match that you don't want to miss, as central Jersey's new tag-team sensation The Jock Mafia (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) take on their arch rivals of late, The Commandos ("The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans & "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews). Plus, the card will be loaded with other regional and local area pro mat standouts like NWS Tag-Team Champion Corvis Fear, NWS Cruiserweight Champion Jumping Joey Janella, "Too Hot" Steve Scott and Nicky Talent, along with Indian Warrior Draven, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto, and popular local guest manager, Holy Family and Carteret's own Fireman Joe Davis, plus much more in store.Ticket prices are only $18 for adults and $15 for kids & seniors.
Saturday night April 17th, NWS makes its annual trek to Tower City, PA's Williams Valley High School (10330 U.S. Route 209, minutes from Interstate-81) with a 7:35pm bell time.
Headlining this annual extravaganza is a long-awaited tag-team reunion of sorts, as Rikishi teams up with his former Headshrinkers tag-team partner and fellow Samoan family member Samu, for the first time in many years. Other regional and local pro mat stars will also be in Tower City, including NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, NWS Cruiserweight Champion Jumping Joey Janella, Philadelphia veteran Devon Moore, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, and high-flying standouts Aaron Arbo and Unbreakable Andy. Tickets are only $18 for reserved ringside seats and $16 for bleacher seats.
Tickets for both shows are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.
All major charge cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
