NWS/WSU 2010 King & Queen Of The Ring Tournament Sat 4/3 In Kearny

An Inter-Gender Tag-Team Tournament You Won't See Anywhere Else, Headlined By Former ECW Stars Balls Mahoney & Jazz, Plus TNA Star Nikki Roxx & Nicky Oceans, Former ECW Women's Champion Angel Orsini & J.D. Smoothie, A WSU Spirit Title Defense & More.

A most unique event, even for pro wrestling (which is unique by definition) will take place on Saturday night April 3rd at 7:35pm, as Kearny, NJ's Presbyterian Boys & Girls Club (663 Kearny Avenue, just off Routes 7 and 21) hosts their long-time fundraising partner, National Wrestling Superstars, and their sister all-ladies wrestling promotion, Women Superstars Uncensored, for what has become an annual Northeast wrestling classic, the 2010 King And Queen Of The Ring Tournament.

That night, eight "inter-gender" tag-teams (a team of one male and one female wrestler) compete in a one-night single-elimination tournament for the right to wear the coveted crowns and to carry the monniker of the "First Couple" of NWS and WSU.

And this year's field of teams looks to be the most competitive one since the tournament's inception, with a pair of former ECW and WWE stars John "Balls" Mahoney & Jazz taking their place, the first time for either of them, in the tournament. But these two veterans will not have a cakewalk to the crowns by any means, as they will face double-tough opposition from such teams as:

Former WWE development protege "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews & former TNA star Nikki Roxx
Former NWS Cruiserweight Champion "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie & former WSU and ECW Women's Champion Angel Orsini
NWS Cruiserweight Champion Jumping Joey Janella & WSU rookie sensation Divina Fly
Former NWS Heavyweight Champion Vinny Vice & WSU newcomer Marti Belle
NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans & WSU tough girl Jana
Bison Bravado & Amber O'Neal

In addition, the fans will be treated to a bonus ladies match, as WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage will defend her title against the spirited newcomer Tina San Antonio.
