NWS/WSU Belleville, NJ 8/21 Results: WSU Champion Angel Orsini vs. Portia Perez with LumberJills Surrounding The Ring, Former WWE TV Star Salvatore Sincere & Danny Demanto vs. Vicious Vinny & The Rogue, Plus Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie & Much More!

National Wrestling Superstars & Womens Superstars Uncensored held the second of their twin-promotion twin-show weekend on Saturday night August 23rd at the Belleville, NJ Knights of Columbus Hall. A near-capacity crowd filled all corners of the venue to cheer on their favorite mens and ladies stars in a night with plenty of action.

Corey Havoc defeated Nicky Oceans. The fans were treated to this bonus opening bout which saw Havoc and Oceans battle in the air and on the mat until Havoc caught Oceans in a Crucifix Slam for the 1-2-3.

Former WWE & ECW diva Dawn Marie came out for her scheduled grudge rematch against Becky Bayless, but when Becky's name was announced, no one came out of the locker room. After it became apparent that Becky was not in the building, Dawn Marie took the microphone and assured the fans that since they had (of course) first and foremost come to see her, she was issuing an open challenge to any of the ladies in the locker room to come out and face her. Trixie Lynn came out and answered the challenge, saying it would be an honor. Dawn Marie stated she had never heard of Trixie Lynn, but reluctantly agreed to the match. This led to...

Dawn Marie vs. Trixie Lynn was declared a no-contest when, after only a few minutes into the match, a brawl between WSU Champion Angel Orsini and challenger Portia Perez spilled out of the back and into the ring. The entire WSU locker room then spilled into the ring and with difficulty, managed to separate the two ladies, who were intent on tearing each other up on the spot. NWS Commissioner (and this evening's acting WSU Commissioner) Gino Moore announced that after their "questionable" finish the previous night in Neptune, the Angel vs. Portia match later this evening would have the ring surrounded by "LumberJills".

Nicole Matthews defeated Roxie Cotton (with Rick Cataldo). After the typical flamboyant entrance by The Beatdown Betties, the two up-and-coming ladies battled in and out of the ring. The match ended when Roxie attempted to do an "old school" top rope walk a la The Undertaker, but was thrown off by Nicole, who hit her with a DDT and pinned her.

Melissa Coates defeated Autumn Breeze. This was a back-and-forth brawl until Autumn missed a splash in the corner, and Melissa hit a Michinoku Driver on Autumn for the three-count.

NWS manager Royce Profit came to the ring, with former WWE TV star Salvatore Sincere and Danny Demanto, who were scheduled to face NWS NJ Heavyweight Champion Vicious Vinny and the former ECW Zombie later in the night. It was announced that due to Zombie'srecent knee injury, he would not be wrestling, but The Rogue would be taking his place and Zombie would be in his team's corner. Profit demanded that, in return for the substitute opponent, he be allowed to name a special referee for the match. Commissioner Moore reluctantly agreed, and Profit brought out NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie, who "promised" to call the match down the middle. This brought out Vicious Vinny & The Rogue, along with their friend Rocky Falco, who offered to have the match right now, and eventually chased Profit and his wrestlers from the ring.

In what was billed as a "David vs. Goliath Match", Bison Bravado (with Royce Profit) defeated Nikko The Winged Monkey Man. The Monkey Man's antics were over with the crowd, and his speed and unpredictable antics were able to offset Bison's size and strength for a time. Nikko hit a flying dropkick on Bison and was poised to get the three-count, but Profit interrupted the count by hitting referee Kenny Edwards and Nikko with his golf club, then brought in his newly-licensed referee J.D. Smoothie, just in time for Bison to hit a piledriver on Nikko and get the three-count from Smoothie. Sal Sincere and Danny Demanto came into the ring to further beat up on the Monkey Man, until The Zombie, The Rogue, and Vicious Vinny ran in to make the save.

Princess Jana defeated Rick Cataldo (with Roxie Cotton). The other half of The Beatdown Betties had no better success that night in Belleville, as the double-tough Jana outfought Rick in and out of the ring, and hit him with a legwhip to get the three-count.

Salvatore Sincere & Danny Demanto (with Royce Profit) defeated The Rogue & Vicious Vinny (with The Zombie & Rocky Falco). The Rogue and Vinny were able to keep Sal and Demanto at bay for most of the match with their unpredictable styles. The match spilled all over the building and even outside. But in the end, a chair shot by Demanto on Vinny, conveniently "missed" by special referee J.D. Smoothie, made the difference, as Smoothie made a fast three-count to give Demanto and his team the victory. An incensed Vinny challenged Demanto to a one-on-one Sicilian Stretcher Match for the NWS NJ Heavyweight Title when NWS returns to Belleville in November.

WSU Champion Angel Orsini retained her title against challenger Portia Perez in a LumberJill Match. After Portia upset Angel in a non-title match two days earlier, and Angel won a controversial victory the previous night, the two ladies tore into each other to resolve the matter once and for all. The brawl spilled out of the ring, with the LumberJills getting caught up in the action and even fighting each other. In the end, after the entire contingent of LumberJills took their brawl into the ring and were finally cleared out, Angel leveled Portia with a superkick and got the 1-2-3 to retain her title.

NWS returns to action on September 12th & 13th in Edison, NJ, with three shows as part of the annual Edison Fall Family Spectacular. Follow NWS on the Web at www.nwswrestling.com.
