Things are heating up as EVOLVE is only two weeks away from its next shows. Let’s get to it….
Cameron Grimes To EVOLVE: We are very excited to announce that NXT Superstar Cameron Grimes will be in action and available for Meet & Greets at EVOLVE 137 in Atlanta, GA and EVOLVE 138 in Concord, NC. This will be a homecoming weekend for Grimes. He made his name and reputation in the Charlotte area. Now he returns after winning matches on two consecutive weeks on NXT live TV. Grimes’ opponents will be announced Monday on WWE.com. Tickets for both events are now on sale at Etix.com.
It’s Official: EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory will defend the title vs. his trainer AR Fox with Ayla & The Skulk at EVOLVE 137 in Atlanta. Theory just made his NXT Full Sail Live debut last Wednesday, gaining a victory in a dark match vs. Ridge Holland. Theory said he’ll be in EVOLVE as long as he’s champion and that will be forever. Fox says he brought Theory in, and now he needs to take him out. These two have gone to war in the past. Atlanta will see possibly the final chapter!
Theory Demands Tag Title Match: Theory told EVOLVE officials he’ll give Fox the title match, but that he also wants to take everything from Fox. He said since he’s defending the EVOLVE Title vs. Fox, he wants a shot at AR Fox & Leon Ruff’s EVOLVE Tag Team Championships. The match will happen at EVOLVE 138 in Concord, NC. Theory’s partner will be revealed on Monday.
NXT GM To Attend EVOLVE: NXT General Manager William Regal told EVOLVE officials he wants to come to EVOLVE 137 in Atlanta and he has some business in mind. We hope to have more details soon. Mr. Regal will also be available for a Meet & Greet that night. Mr. Regal will also be a special guest at the WWN Seminar/Tryout that afternoon. Go to the WWNLive.com Seminar/Tryout section for info. Next Recruitment Camp: The WWN Recruitment Camp will now be known as the EVOLVE Recruitment Camp. The first two, sold out camps have been very successful with a plethora of NXT Coaches, talent and backstage workers sharing their knowledge in a total educational experience. Several talents have been signed to EVOLVE or will receive a 3-day tryout at the WWE PC after taking part in the camps. The next EVOLVE Recruitment Camp will November 1st-3rd in Largo, FL. We are finalizing the special guests and will have full details next week.
