……

I just received this letter from one of the people who had talent scheduled to attend this July 22nd event.  I had my doubts from the beginning.  At least everyone knows now that this event WILL NOT BE TAKING PLACE.....

Dear John:

Hello, my name is Justin Macdonald, and I am one of the backers of The Official Wrestling Museum.  We contacted you about coming in to our fanfare this Saturday, however I would like to explain the situation that is at hand now, and to give you an understanding that I take responsibility for the tickets not arriving.  The Official Wrestling Museum is owned by DINO, and one of his duties is to contact workers we are interested in having at our events. There are also 4 backers whose duties vary from advertising, permits, buildings, and merchandising. My job as a backer is ticket handling, and I must confess that I led DINO and the other backers in believing the tickets were already purchased, however, because of a family medical emergency, I was forced to use monies allotted for ticket purchases.  This was an unfortunate situation which I deeply regret.  I am particularly interested in informing you also that neither DINO or the other backers are responsible for a perhaps what I deemed as a no win situation.  I was faced with a decision to help either my family of friends and coworkers or my daughter. I chose perhaps wisely, but not without deep regret for the situation which we now find ourselves in.  We have had a meeting tonight were I explained to for the first time, that I did not have the tickets I had previously declared I would obtain, and as such, we have decided with heavy heart to postpone the event which was scheduled for July 22, and have rescheduled the event for November 4. 2006.  We are hopeful that in light of this current rescheduling you will see fit to honor us with you presence on November 4. We can still work with the same arrangements, however the tickets will be sent this time to you by mid September to October 4.2006.  You may contact myself or DINO at [email protected] .  In closing, I deeply apologize for this and any inconvenience this may have caused you.

PS.  I am of the understanding that you taking care of the bookings of Beefcake, Jackie, Tammy, One Man Gang, Koko, and Pat Tanaka.  Would you please inform them of this and let us know how they feel about the change of the date and assure them Nov. 4 is solid!

Sincerely, Justin MacDonald

If I was one of the wrestlers, I would not hold my breathe waiting for the November 4th date !!!  The above was terribly unprofessional.
