OFFICIAL TNA “IMPACT!” RESULTS
Saturday, November 19, 2005 – Orlando, FL
By: Marcus Cygy

iMPACT! opened with highlights from last Sunday’s “Genesis” pay-per-view as we then got right into the thick of things with our opening match.

”THE SAMOAN SUBMISSION MACHINE” SAMOA JOE vs. JERRELLE CLARK
Samoa Joe came down to the ring wearing the towel that was covered in Christopher Daniels’ blood at Genesis thanks to the hands of Joe. Jerrelle Clark had little to no offense nor momentum in this match as the viciously hungry Samoa Joe took things straight up to Clark. Joe was showing the ruthlessness inside of him, he was trying to prove that he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Joe defeated Clark with the Muscle Buster followed by a Rear Naked Choke.

Winner: Samoa Joe

We’re definitely seeing a side of Samoa Joe we have never seen before. AJ Styles was then on the big screen as he told Joe that there is a code in the X-Division that apparently does not apply to him. AJ Styles, the X-Division Champion the abruptly challenged Samoa Joe to a match at Turning Point as AJ added that usually the challenger makes the challenge, this time it’s the Champion making that challenge.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

We returned on the air in front of a hot Orlando crowd.

NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett made his way down with Gail Kim, as he demanded from Mike Tenay to tell him who his opponent will be at Turning Point. Jarrett told Tenay that he was “The Professor” and that he was supposed to know these things. Jarrett then went to the back to try and find some answers as the next match got underway.

Non-Title Match:
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, AMERICA’S MOST WANTED vs. SONNY SIAKI & APOLO
America’s Most Wanted had the quick abrupt start, but Siaki and Apolo used double team skills as AMW then had to regroup on the outside, thus finding themselves in trouble in the opening minutes of this match. Moments later, AMW used some double team tactics of their own from their bag of tricks and gained their momentum. Siaki however had a nice spurt of high impact moves that gained the offense for his team. You have to give Siaki and Apolo credit where credit’s due, they caught AMW off guard and really brought the match to them. However, in the end, James Storm had the beer bottle and cracked it over Apolo’s head to the outside. Shortly after that was the Death Sentence to Siaki for the victory. Sonny Siaki and Apolo definitely held their own in this match though.

Winners: NWA World Tag Team Champions, America’s Most Wanted

After the match, Chris Harris grabbed a table out and brought it in along with a spray paint bottle. AMW put the table in the corner and spray painted “3D” on it as they were sending a message to Team 3D. They wanted to now but Siaki through it but down came Brother Ray and Brother Devon! AMW were quick to bail out. Brother Ray quickly spoke on the microphone and told AMW that they were out of their minds for using a table. He reiterated to them that he had some very good news and very bad news for them. They just finished speaking with Larry Zbyszko and said that for the first time ever, it will be a Tables Match with Team 3D and America’s Most Wanted at Turning Point. Both Ray and Devon then took that table in the ring and threw it out and towards AMW.

We were then taken backstage as Jarrett was pacing outside of Zbysko’s office. He told Gail Kim to call him on her cell phone as they both said they didn’t trust Zbyszko.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

We came back as a video package was shown highlighting past events between the 3Live Kru and Kip James from the past few months.

Backstage with Shane Douglas, BG James said that he has a huge announcement concerning the 3Live Kru and that things are going to change around here. BG told them they are misunderstanding and that this will be for the best of everyone and that he has to go talk to someone now. Konnan left and said he has to holler to some people too.

”THE MONSTER” ABYSS vs. “THE MAN BEAST” RHINO
The two beasts started with several hard monstrous blows, the crowd favorite in Rhino took the immediate advantage and even went high risk and over the ropes onto Abyss. We then came back from a quick commercial break as Rhino had Abyss locked in an arm bar in the middle of the ring. After the damage was done, Rhino later went to clothesline Abyss out of the ring. Abyss then turned things around by pulling Rhino down after Rhino was going to Gore his manager, James Mitchell. Rhino then fought back with a series of chops as the crowd was strongly behind the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Rhino. Rhino was hurt in the mid section though as Abyss continued to work and rearrange Rhino’s physical features. Rhino hit Abyss down with a diving lariat, followed by a spear to the mid section in the ring corner. But it was Abyss that caught Rhino square in the face with a big boot. Moments later, Rhino caught the Spine Buster on Abyss with a near fall. Rhino now brought in a table as he set it up in the corner of the ring. Rhino then later delivered a Belly to Belly Suplex and then a missed Gore into the table. Abyss took the opportunity to pin and received a near fall! The lights were then out as Sabu was seen ringside with a chair wrapped in barbed wire as the lights came back on. Rhino then quickly gave the Gore to Abyss and got the win.

Winner: Rhino

Backstage we learned from Zbyszko that Rhino will be facing Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Title at Turning Point. Jarrett didn’t like the decision and said that Raven should have a shot, or Monty Brown should have a shot. Zbyszko said he thought Jarrett hated them to which Jarrett then said, “fair is fair”. Zbyszko was confused as Jarrett left followed by Gail Kim as she quickly told Larry that he is walking on thin ice right now.

CHRISTIAN CAGE DEBUTS ON iMPACT!
We were back as now we witnessed the iMPACT! debut of Christian Cage! He went and reiterated what he said on the microphone at Genesis on why he came to TNA. He said he didn’t come to TNA because he got fired, he didn’t come because he didn’t have anywhere to go. He came to TNA because this is the place to be and to get the “damn respect” that he deserves. He also came to capture the NWA World Heavyweight Title and said if anyone has a problem with that, he didn’t care as he finished by saying, “Because That’s How I Roll”. Monty Brown was quick to enter as he told Christian Cage to put the breaks on that garbage. He reminded Christian that he is not up north rolling anymore and welcomed him to the Serengeti. To make a long story short, “The Alpha Male” Monty Brown was totally disgusted by Christian Cage due to him wanting the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Shortly after, mayhem broke out as Monty Brown was delivering a series of hits to him as the Pounce then followed for the first time on Christian Cage.

Tune in next week to see what Christian Cage has to say about this act by Monty Brown!
