OFFICIAL TNA “SACRIFICE” PAY-PER-VIEW RESULTS!

Preshow Match: Sonny Siaki and Apolo defeated Mikey Batts and Jerrelle Clarke

PAY-PER-VIEW RESULTS

Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Shark Boy vs. Simon Diamond, David Young and Primetime Elix Skipper
TNA’s “Sacrifice” opened up with a six-man bout featuring Simon Diamond. David Young and the newest “Diamond In The Rough” in Primetime Elix Skipper taking on the X Division threesome of Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Shark Boy. Chris Sabin got the pin on Primetime in the end, with Diamond none too pleased with his new recruit.

Alex Shelley vs. Shocker
This was the third match of their recent series, with both stars putting on another innovative grappling display. The two stars traded submission style tactics for much of the match, but Shelley ultimately turned to underhanded tactics to beat Shocker by pinning him with his leg on the ropes for leverage.

Lance Hoyt vs. Abyss w/ Jim Mitchell
It was TNA’s battle of the big men as young lion Lance Hoyt faced his toughest test in TNA thus far, the monster Abyss. Hoyt unveiled some new, amazing high-flying offense in the bout – even hitting Abyss with a flying springboard dropkick from across the ring. However, Hoyt came up just short, finally falling to Abyss after two Black Hole Slams.

Konnan and The Truth vs. Kip James and The Alpha Male (Special referee BG James)
Special referee BG James would be forced to pick sides in this wild brawl, as the bout started with both sides fighting throughout the arena. At one point in the match, Kip James went to use a chair, leading BG James to take it from him. Kip shoved BG, who returned the favor with a series of punches, allowing his 3LK mates to get the win! BG held true to his word and reunited to celebrate with the Kru.

Christopher Daniels vs. Austin Aries
The X Division Champion Christopher Daniels took on the winner of the Internet Dream Match in Austin Aries, who surprised The Fallen Angel with tremendous offense during the bout. At one point, Aries looked to have Daniels beat following a 450-splash from the top rope, but the X Champion was able to overcome and win it with his Angel’s Wings finisher.

Jerry Lynn vs. Sean Waltman
This bout between the two longtime X pioneers was over a decade in the making, as it also marked Jerry Lynn’s in-ring return to TNA Wrestling. Even X competitors Sonjay Dutt, Chris Sabin and Shark Boy showed up to watch the bout. Following a amazing bout between both stars, Lynn got the win over Waltman with a victory roll. Following the bout, Waltman looked to congratulate Lynn, but then brutally attacked his former friend and attempted to re-injure his shoulder.

NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals and America’s Most Wanted vs. Team Canada
This bout featured the first-ever teaming of The Naturals and longtime enemies AMW in an effort to eliminate Team Canada form the NWA World Tag Team Title picture. The Naturals and AMW worked well in the beginning, but a breakdown between both teams cost them the match in the end. Following the bout, AMW and The Naturals had to be separated by TNA security before a brawl broke out.

Super X Cup Final: AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe
The Super X Cup and a shot at the X Champion The Fallen Angel was on the line in this bout featuring “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and the “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe. In a bout that had fans in the arena on their feet applauding, Christopher Daniels attempted to interfere in the bout, but was stopped by both Joe and Styles. As a result of the interference, Joe took the opportunity to hit the Muscle Buster on Styles and made him tap out to his choke clutch. Joe is the 2005 Super X Cup winner.

Main Event: NWA World Heavyweight Champion Raven and Sabu vs. Jeff Jarrett and Rhino
On the countdown preshow, Larry Zbyszko informed Jeff Jarrett that if he could pin Raven in the main event, Jarrett would get the title shot at Unbreakable. If Raven won, Jarrett would be out of the title picture for a year. The bout also saw the return of Jeff Hardy, who attacked Jarrett during the bout – allowing Rhino to score the win on Raven. The Pay-Per-View went off the air with an irate Jeff Jarrett losing his shot at the gold!
