WRESTLING SCHOOL

Ohio Valley Wrestling is recognized around the world as one of the finest professional wrestling training facilities in the industry. OVW counts among its many accolades that it is one of the official developmental programs for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the sport's leading promotion.

In the past 7 years, OVW has trained over 30 superstars for the WWE, including many current and past WWE Champions: Batista, John Cena, Victoria, Doug and Danny Basham, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Randy Orton, plus many more including Rob Conway, Eugene, Sylvan Grenier, Bobby Lashley, and Lance Cade.

Located in Louisville, Kentucky, OVW's training center is under the supervision of OVW owner "Nightmare" Danny Davis, a former pro wrestler with nearly 30 years' experience in wrestling, managing, promoting, and training, with Al Snow as lead trainer - a veteran pro wrestler and trainer in his own right, the latter highlighted by his role as lead trainer in WWE's "Tough Enough" series.

So if you want to make a career in pro wrestling, OVW is THE place to come!

Training Class Schedule:

BEGINNER'S PROGRAM:

The OVW beginner's program is designed to determine if you have the intestinal fortitude and athletic aptitude to be a pro wrestler. It is open to anyone who wants to find out if they have what it takes, and to give the student a grasp of the basics of the sport. This 13 week pro wrestling "boot camp" will challenge you and your body with 26 lessons. Beginner's classes meet Monday and Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM.

At the end of the course, you will have four option: 1) You will decide that pro wrestling is not for you. 2) OVW will tell you that pro wrestling is not for you. 3) You will be invited to continue on to the Intermediate level. 4) Or if you have not met the requirements to advance but have the potential to do so, you will be given the option to re-enroll in the beginner's program.

Tuition for the beginner's program is $750.00 to be paid in full in advance. Classes are limited to 30 students. Those wishing to enroll if the course is full will be waitlisted for the next available opening. Attendance at OVW's Wednesday TV tapings is allowed.

The Intermediate program is for those who are ready to move on to a more rigorous, detailed program. Student will begin to explore more of the moves, holds, and psychology of pro wrestling matches, and the top students will be considered for "tryouts" at selected live OVW events.

This program is monitored for those who "have what it takes" to move on to the Advanced class. This program meets twice a week: Mondays and Thursdays from 7 to 11pm. Attendance at OVW TV tapings on Wednesday nights is encouraged.

Tuition for the Intermediate class is $2000.00. You may pay in full, or a payment plan will be accepted with $1,000.00 down and 40 weekly payments of $25.00. Intermediate class duration is one year, and those who excel will be invited to the Advanced class before or by the end of this program.

You will be under the direct supervision of Al Snow and the OVW and WWE assistant trainers. You will be booked on OVW live events and TV tapings. You will be seen by WWE road agents visiting OVW and be considered for WWE "dark matches" and bookings on live local WWE events.

The OVW TV shows are seen weekly by WWE officials and creative staff. You will be seen by top[ WWE names appearing on OVW events. You will learn match psychology and get experience with live TV and interviews. This is the final step towards a career in the WWE.

The advanced class schedule occurs at various times, and you will be notified as to when your class meets.  In addition to classes you'll attend TV tapings Wednesdays 5 to 10PM and live OVW events over the course of the weekend. At this stage, you are member of the main OVW roster.

Tuition for the Advanced class is $3000.00. You may pay in full or pay $1,500.00 down and 30 weekly payments of $50.00. This fee is only good for a 1 year program. Advance class meets Mon Tue Thur @ 10am until 2pm. All advance class students will be able to travel to live events and also get booked on some OVW Live events and some OVW TV events. Currently OVW has 15 - 20 live events per month. At the end of your year agreement you must resign / pay the advance class fee again in order to participate or you will not be able to continue class. No exceptions.

As in any form of sport or entertainment, (NFL, NBA, MLB, Rock N' Roll, movies) there are no guarantees in pro wrestling--but members of the OVW Advanced class have the best chance in the world for a career in pro wrestling.

There are other reputable pro wrestling training centers in this country--and some not so reputable. None give you the chance for success that OVW's does.
