OVW Spoilers for this weekend

Taped October 5 in Louisville, Kentucky

OVW followed up on last week's great show (which Dave Meltzer wrote was the best tv show of the weekend, which included WWE Homecoming, TNA's debut on Spike, and UFC's live special) with a match that you would swear would be terrible.

Bobby Lashley vs The Boogeyman. No kidding, this was like Goldberg in his heyday. They had the classic old school deal where they had a giant gift wrapped box at ringside all night long, and everyone that walked by it made sure to look at it and wonder who or what's inside. It was billed as Kenny Bolin's surprise. Later in the show, Alexis Laree had a handicap diva match with Aaron "The Idol" Stevens's Valets of Beth Phoenix and Shelly. They started brawling near the box, and The Boogeyman came out. He laid out Alexis, and then also Chris Cage. When Lashley came out, you'd think Austin or Hogan walked into the Davis Arena. Huge pop. Short match that saw Lashley laid out, then flip backwards off the canvas into a spear that has to be seen to be believed. After the pinfall, Ken Doane and Dean Visk attacked Lashley, but he was fighting back and it was great. Brent Albright made the save, and he shook hands with Lashley to end the tv show.

Also, throughout the show, they built up a one hour time limit match between Ken Doane and Brent Albright for the OVW TV Title, and everyone kept thanking The WB Network for giving OVW an extra hour overtime tonight if needed for the match. But Doane kayoed Albright in a few seconds with brass knuckles. Great heat for Doane.

The Con Man was in the house, picking a fight with Deuce Shade. Shade teamed with Chet The Jet and Seth Skyfire to beat The Tolands and Mike Mondo. The Tolands are no longer bleached blondes, and they looked much better with darker hair.

Elijah Burke pinned Cliff Compton.

Stevie Richards pinned Paul Burchall in a dark match with help from Elijah Burke, continuing Burke vs Burchall as a hot feud.  The Heart Throbs beat The Highlanders, who made their debut. The less said about the Highlanders, the better. They came out in Scottish garb and the best thing about them was their costumes.

In another highlight of the night, Matt Cappotelli attacked Mr Kennedy in the locker room as retaliation for Jeter and Kennedy attacking Cappotelli at last week's press conference. This was classic Heyman babyface promo, as Cappotelli did Kennedy's gimmick after laying him out.

Can't wait to see this on TV.
