OVW taped 2 weeks of TV episodes on Wednesday November 16 at the New Davis Arena in Louisville. The first hour aired on Saturday Night and was a great show. Here's the rundown.

Highlights aired of Matt Cappotelli pinning Johnny Jeter in the 3rd Fall of their OVW Title Match from last week, with Cappotelli winning the title. Then a Live Press Conference aired from the WB Studios with Cappotelli talking about taking the one thing in life that meant more to Jeter than anything else. Cappotelli exclaimed, "revenge can be so sweet !"

The new OVW Music Video open aired with all new clips of all the top OVW stars.

MARK HENRY CRUSHED PAT BUCK IN ONE MINUTE. Henry looked very aggressive and whipped Buck with his pants-belt after the match.

Dean Hill and Al Snow hyped up tonight's main event of new OVW TV Champion CM Punk defending against Brent Albright. Then highlights aired from last week's OVW TV Title Match where Punk took out Albright, replaced him, and then ended up in the title match against Ken Doane. We see Albright come back out and cost Doane the title, with Al Snow saying "CM Punk is the new OVW TV Champion, and he owes it all to Brent Albright!"

WWE SMACKDOWN'S JILLIAN HALL PINNED MONDAY NIGHT RAW'S MICKI JAMES WITH A 450 SPLASH. This match lasted close to 15 minutes. It was actually taped the week before at the TV Taping, but held over for this week. This was an excellent Divas Match, longer than the ones we're used to seeing on Raw or Smackdown. Two old time OVW rivals, now Raw vs Smackdown divas. Jillian tried to use the clipboard, but Micki survived, only to fall victim to a 450 Splash off the top rope and a clean pinfall victory for Jillian, who was wearing the Vader-style mask to "cover up the mole." This was really a great match.

Earlier Today, Robbie Dawber tries to get the scoop as former champion Johnny Jeter shows up. Jeter runs into Danny Inferno, who is recovering from some sort of injury. Jeter makes a wise comment to Inferno, and then keeps walking. Inferno says, "Oh, Jeter, Danny Davis is looking for you." Jeter thinks about it, thinking about when he jumped Danny Davis and beat him up, and instead of facing the music, decides to leave.

ELIJAH BURKE PINNED KC JAMES. Quick match, but pretty good. Elijah hit the Experience and KC took an awesome bump.

Robbie Dawber tried to interview new OVW Champion CM Punk in the hallway, but Punk didn't want to talk to him and knocked him into a locker room. Dawber then flew out backwards and you see Idol Stevens's girls Beth and Shelly attacking Dawber. Very funny segment.

We then get an interview with Beth and Shelly and their man, "The Idol" Aaron Stevens, who cut a really good promo about his OVW Title match next week with Matt Cappotelli. Stevens called him "The Maharasia of the Manage A Trois-Ah."  There was a skit at the end where they all start fooling around that you have to see to believe. Good promo.

CM PUNK DEFENDED THE OVW TV TITLE AGAINST BRENT ALBRIGHT, BUT BOTH WERE DEMOLISHED BY KEN DOANE WITH A CHAIR.

This match went almost 30 minutes and was a very good wrestling match. Punk and Albright traded holds and moves, and both hit a number of very exciting false finishes. Finally, the action spilled to the outside of the ring, where Albright got the better of Punk. Albright threw Punk into the ring, but Punk accidentally clipped the legs of the referee. They got tangled up, and Ken Doane appeared at ringside and demolished Albright with a chair. Doane then hid under the ring. Neither Punk nor the referee knew what happened, and Punk came to the outside, and threw Albright's limp body inside the ring. Punk applied the Anaconda Vice Submission Hold, and the referee raised Albright's arm, which fell three times, and Punk was declared winner and still champion. Doane then came in the ring and laid out Punk with a brutal chairshot. This is an excellent three way feud developing.

OVW ENDED THE TV SHOW WITH A TEN BELL SALUTE TO EDDIE GUERRERO.
This actually was the first thing on the show Wednesday Night, but the TV show ended with the audience being silent for the 10 bell salute and then the fans breaking out into an Eddie chant as the graphic "Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005" filled the screen.

OVW is now offering the entire 2005 collection of TV shows on DVD. The January-June shows are now being offered for the first time. These are the last six months of the Cornette era in OVW. The main event for this weekend's TV show is Matt Cappotelli defending the title against "The Idol" Aaron Stevens. Plus we find out Johnny Jeter's future in OVW. There's an excellent OVW Southern Tag Team Title Match as Chet The Jet and Seth Skyfire defend against The Riggs Brothers.
