It’s CHATTERBOX time again! I hope you all are enjoying the first weeks of the New Year. Fortunately, I am staying busy playing "rasslin promoter." I have 3 events coming up with my Gulf South Wrestling group, on January 27th. ^{February 4th, and February 17th. I am pleased to have my ‘ol friend Kimala on my February 4th card. Many of you know that we have a very long history, as I was "Sugar Bear Harris" first manager when he broke into the business back in the late 1970s. I guess we really have come full circle in this great business of ours.}

I will also be in Jamaica, New York at The JFK Holiday Inn on Saturday February 18th, for a signing of my new Classic Action Figure. If you live in the area please stop by and introduce yourself to me, it’s always a pleasure to meet my fellow CHATTERBOXERS.

Mardi Gras is also right around the corner. When many think of Mardi Gras, New Orleans always comes to mind. However, it was first celebrated right here in my hometown of Mobile, Alabama. When I was a teenager, I always wondered what it would be like to have a wrestling ring on a float during a Mardi Gras parade, and actually have matches floating down the streets. Well… be careful what you dream of. My little independent organization is scheduled to be a part of The Knights of Mobile Mardi Gras Parade on February 25th.
