Pro Wrestling Fusion set to kick off 2009 with a double shot weekend.
Pro Wrestling Fusion invades Davie, Florida on Friday, January 9, 2009 at the Davie PAL and returns to Ft. Pierce, Florida on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Ft. Pierce PAL with two blockbuster shows.. Both shows have an 8:00 PM belltime.
Pro Wrestling Fusion’s International Wrestling Academy Opens January 5, 2009
Do you think you have what it takes to be a Pro Wrestling Fusion superstar? Pro Wrestling Fusion’s International Wrestling Academy officially opens it’s doors on Monday, January 5, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. Come and train with Former WCW Cruiserweight and Television Champion Prince Iaukea, Former WWE Developmental Star, England’s Tommy Taylor and former WWE and WCW talent John Alen. Pro Wrestling Fusion will also host special seminars with the who’s who in the world of professional wrestling.
Craig Classic Heading Back to Big Japan Pro Wrestling
Fusion superstar Craig Classic will be returning for his 8th tour of Big Japan Pro Wrestling. Before heading back Craig will have his final matches in the U.S. this weekend. On Friday, January 9, he will be taking on Michael Tobin in a rematch from the last Boynton Beach event. Then on Saturday, January 10, Classic will be challenging Prince Iaukea for the Fusion Luchacore Title. Will Classic be able to win the title and take it overseas with him?
Prince Iaukea sends a message to Chris Jones
It appears that Prince Iaukea is starting to get into the mind of Chris Jones. Not only did he hand Chris Jones his first defeat and take the Pro Wrestling Fusion Luchacore Title from Jones at the last Ft. Pierce event, he granted Jones a rematch a week later in Boynton Beach, Florida and still walked out with the title. Pro Wrestling Fusion to Crown Tag Team Champions
At the last Ft. Pierce event, The Heartbreak Express defeated IWA-Puerto Rico’s Los Boricuas (Vengedor Boricua and Super Gladiator) and Blunt Force Trauma (Bruce Santee and Jon Davis) defeated The Lifeguards. These two teams will collide on January 10, in Ft. Pierce, to determine who will be the first Pro Wrestling Fusion Tag Team Champions.
Ring of Honor Star Returns To Fusion
ROH Star, Roderick Strong returns to Pro Wrestling Fusion on January 10, to try to stop the momentum of The British Lion, Tommy Taylor. Roderick Strong is looking to pick up his first win in Fusion after falling to fellow ROH Star, Erick Stevens at the first Fusion event, while Taylor is looking to remain undefeated in a Fusion ring.
International Star Lands in Florida for One Night Only
One of the most feared men in wrestling returns home for one night only to make his Pro Wrestling Fusion debut. Bruiser Bradley, who has terrorized Japan, Puerto Rico and just about everywhere else will be at the January 10th event. Why will he be there? More importantly, who will be safe from this maniac?
