LANDELL REIGNS SUPREME! CORINO FRUSTRATED!
April 10th, 2006

Last night, WORLD-1 champion Ricky Landell defeated his trainer and friend
Steve Corino in a grulling 22 minute match that saw Landell become the New
Generation Ace of Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1.

Landell withstood 42 slaps to the face, 3 Lariats, and 2 Northern Lights
Bombs to score a submission victory over the former ECW, NWA, and AWA
World champion.

"It was a true highlight of my young career." Landell said after the match
celebrating with young WORLD-1 stars Josh Daniels, Shinsuke Yamagasa, and
Justin Smith. "Steve (Corino) and I beat each other up for close to a half
an hour. He is the best and I want to thank him for giving me the chance
to lead this company."

Corino on the other hand was not as complimentry, especially with CW
Anderson is his ear; "Ricky was lucky tonight. There is no way in hell
that he should have beat me. My flight from Germany was two hours late, I
didn't get to stretch enough before the match, and then Mike Kehner took
it upon himself to call the bell too early." Corino complained. He later
caught up with WORLD1Wrestling.com and apologized for his remarks saying
"I am just a little frustrated. Ricky was the better man in the match and
he deserves the spot he was in."

Next up for the WORLD-1 champion is MANA, who seems to be having some
problems with Mr. Mark Mest. They collide on May 7 in Boyertown, PA.

HAMRICK SERIOUSLY INJURED, SPITZ TO FACE SUSPENSION?
April 10th, 2006

Chris Hamrick, fresh off a great win over The Dark Horse Greg Spitz was
injured seriously on Sunday night when Spitz cradle piledrove him on the
hardwood floor. Hamrick was taken to Pottstown Memorial Hospital and spent
the night with a cervical bruise. Doctor Jonathon Heavner said that if
Hamrick was 20 pounds lighter he might have suffered a career ending
broken neck.

Once Greg Spitz heard about this all he did was laugh much to the anger of
many in the locker room. Even partner Mark Mest did not seem too happy
with The Dark Horse.

Curt Lemon is considering suspending Spitz for the duration of Hamrick's
injury time and will have a statement by the end of the week.
WORLD-1 NEWS IN BRIEF!
April 10th, 2006

WORLD-1 officials were very impressed with AWA Mid Atlantic champion Ric
Converse and Justin Smith. Both will return to W-1 in the very near
future...

Much to the dismay of WORLD-1 tag team champions Greg Spitz and Mark Mest,
they will have to defend the titles in a 3 way match on May 7th against
The Downtown Playboys AND The Patriot and Josh Daniels. The champs thought
they got out of the title match due to the Playboys and Patriot/Daniels
both getting counted out...

Minutes after Allison Danger's V2 defense of the North American title,
Cindy Rogers came to the ring and nominated herself as the next
challenger. The cocky Danger tried to blow it off but Rogers told her that
she is walking out with the title in May...

The Mysterious Superstar II (who looks a lot like The Grappler) and Ricky
Reyes had words in the locker room on Sunday. Reyes told The Superstar to
get serious and Superstar was not too happy...
