WORLD FAMOUS CB, LSG SQUARE OFF IN PURE RULES MATCH AT GLORY BY HONOR NIGHT 2

Two wrestlers looking to move into title contention in the Pure division will square off at Glory By Honor Night 2 on Aug. 21 at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.

The Pure Rules Match pits LSG, the No. 4-ranked contender, against World Famous CB, who is currently unranked

LSG and Joe Keys were the co-winners of a rankings battle royal in May, and LSG went on to defeat Keys to earn the right to enter the rankings in the division of his choice. LSG chose the Pure division.

LSG has only had one Pure Rules Match in ROH, but he made a strong impression. In November, LSG took two-time former ROH World Champion and former Pure Champion Jay Lethal to the 15-minute time limit; the judges awarded the match to Lethal in a split decision.

World Famous CB scored an impressive win over Wheeler Yuta in a Pure Rules Match a few months ago. He also looked good in defeat against Tracy Williams and Fred Yehi in Pure Rules bouts and gave a good account of himself in a couple of Pure Gauntlet matches.
