The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame held its first New Jersey fund-raiser on Saturday Night at the Regency House Hotel in Pompton Plains.

Former wrestler Irish Terry Gunn laid the groundwork for a very successful banquet.
In attendance were George The Animal Steele, Capt. Lou Albano, J.J. Dillon, Missy Hyatt, Manuel Soto, Doink, Dick Woerhle, Johnny Valiant, Billy Capputo and Master of Ceremonies Davey O'Hannon.
The room was filled to capacity as everyone enjoyed a full course meal from soup to dessert. All the wrestlers in attendance were fan friendly and signed autographs and posed for pictures throughout the five hour event.
One of the best things about an event like this is that you can sit and chat  with the wrestlers and there are no time constraints. There were also a number of signed photos, books plaques and other items raffled off. The PWHF is a not-for-profit organization and all funds over and above the actual cost of the event  go directly to the Hall.
Killer Kowalski and Harley Race will be at the Amsterdam NY based PWHF in October & November.
Check the PWHF website www.pwhf.org for dates of future events.
