Jimmy reviews the Halloween edition of RAW!
RAW opening
Our hosts are Jonathan Coachman (dressed up as Austin) and Jerry Lawler (dressed up as King).
We're joined by Eric Bischoff and Chris Masters. He talks about the Taboo Tuesday match and announces a special Masterlock challange with Rey Mysterio accompanied by Teddy Long. Masters mocks Rey and Rey cheapshots him and pounds on him. RAW roster comes out and so do the Smackdown guys (including Christian).
Eric motivates Edge and Masters.
New format for tonight, as I'm feeling lazy.
Kurt Angle vs. Tajiri
Angle controls the match with body scissors but Tajiri fights back and gets a kick for 2. Handspring elbow and Tarantula is blocked into the Ankle Lock for the Angle win. Angle gets on the mic afterwards and says he'll beat Cena tomorrow and Cena takes offense and comes out to drive Kurt out of the ring. This is what it was. 1/2*

Rob Conway vs. Eugene
Conway pulls out a Big Poppa Pump elbow drop and controls to start. Eugene hulks up and gets the Rock Bottom for 2. I turn to Monday Night Football and when I put RAW back on Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Jimmy Snuka, and Kamala are giving Conway their finisher and King runs down wearing a Burger King mask.
Backstage, Todd Grisham (as Harry Carrey) unsuccessfully tries to inteview Gregory Helms and does talk to Mick Foley. "Nice Church Lady costume".
Carlito comes out and talks about the match at Taboo Tuesday, and Mick interrupts on the Titan Tron as all 3 of his characters. Awesome. Coach takes this oppurtunity to call out Austin.
Coach brings out Goldust(!) to be in his corner for Taboo Tuesday. Vince McMahon comes out and announces Austin has been in an accident of sorts over the weekend and that he won't be back tonight or tomorrow. Vince announces Coach as the winner but brings out Funaki to face Coach or something. Goldust and Coach beat him down. Curtain Call. Coach wants some more Smackdown guys, and Batista comes out. Goldust pounds on Batista and VADER comes down to JOIN the beatdown. This whole segment seemed like an enjoyable albiet freaky acid trip or something. Apparently Austin's taken his ball and gone home again.
Triple H vs. Viscera
HHH pounds on Vis to start, and gets the Pedigree right away. HHH hits Vis with the stairs afterwards for fun. *****
Grisham interviews John Cena. He also gets some funny guesses for his costume (Barbara Bush, Orville Reddenbacher). Cena talks about sad.
Heart Throbs vs. Big Show and Kane
Heart Throbs are dressed up as Batman(s). Quick squash for the big boys as they try to out do each other. They finish with a chokeslam of their own. DUD.
Taboo Tuesday press confrence highlights
Diva Halloween costume costurme time with King as judge. Trish is dressed as Wonder Woman and Mickie James as Trish. Shenanigans ensue. Meh.
John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels
Nothing of note for the first few minutes. Shawn goes to the sleeper. Cena fights back with the usual. Protoplex, 5 knuckle. FU time but Shawn reverses and Kurt runs down for the DQ. Cena tries to FU Angle but Shawn superkicks Cena and poses with the title. Match was just going through the motions. *1/2
Overall Thoughts: Entertaining show with a lot of setbacks. Austin sure can be a dink now and then...
