Jimmy reviews RAW for 9/26

RAW Opening, the last ever on Spike TV.

We're live in Waco, Texas with our hosts Jim Ross, Jonathan Coachman, and Jerry Lawler for the last ever on Spike TV.

We find out our main event is a tag team tables match with John Cena and Shawn Michaels vs. Carlito and Chris Masters.

We're joined by Vinnie Mack to join the last RAW ever on Spike TV. He talks about the move, and thanks Spike. He talks about next week, and gets interrupted by Kurt Angle, who feels he should be #1 contender and wants the winner of Cena vs. Bischoff. Vince looks ready to comply before Shawn Michaels interrupts, who wants the title shot as he won his Unforgiven match also. This leads to an arguement between Shawn and Kurt bringing up WrestleMania and Vengeance, and Vince announces a 30 minute Iron Man Match between the 2 for RAW's Homecoming. Rockin'.

Trish Stratus w/Ashley vs. Victoria w/Torrie and Candice for the last ever on Spike TV
Let's just skip to the end, where Trish Stratusfactions Victoria and the heels break it up. Faces clean house and strip Candice to her Bra and Panties, and Candice makes a 3 on 2 Bra and Panties match for next week.

Big Show vs. Gene Snitsky in a Street Fight (the last ever on Spike TV)
I flip over to Monday Night Football for a second, and return to see Snitsky hit Show with a metal sign. He hits him with a garbage can too, but Show just slaps it out of his hand. He rams Snitsky into the corner with the can in the turnbuckle, but misses a charge and hits it himself too. Show backdrop suplexes Snitsky on a garbage can, and hits him with a can lid a few times. Chokeslam, and Show decides to get a kitchen sink, and nails Snitsky with it for the pin. *

Carlito/Flair video while Flair and Maria make time, the last ever on Spike TV.

Ric comes out for an interview by the top of the stage. He talks about Triple's return, and we get a HHH video. (For the last ever on Spike TV)

Backstage, Bischoff talks on his cell phone, and Cena comes in and insults him a bit, for the last ever on Spike TV.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Kerwin White w/caddy Nick Nemeth for the last ever on Spike TV.
Standard punching stuff to start. Shelty gets a back body drop and skins the cat back in after Kerwin tries to throw him over. Shelton gets a flying clothesline. Shelton goes for a suplex back in, but Kerwin reverses to a crossbody pin for the win as Nemeth holds Shelton's leg. Nemeth breaks a golf club over Shelton's back after the match when Shelton attacks Chavo. Meh. *1/2

We're joined by Edge and Lita w/neckbrace for the last ever on Spike TV. Edge taunts Matt from a top a ladder, and Matt of course comes out and pushes him off. Poor dope.

Backstage, Bischoff is met up by Teddy Long, who compliments Eric on next week. Eric insults Teddy a bit, and Vince announces Smackdown will be a part of the Homecoming also.

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch vs. Val Venis w/green tights and Viscera for the last ever on Spike TV

Val kicks ass to begin, as every Val match should start. Elbow on Cade gets 1. Val goes up, and Murdoch pushes him straight off, which gets 2 for Cade back in. Swinging neckbreaker gets 2 for Murdoch as he got the tag. Vis gets the tag and cleans house. Val gets the Money Shot on Murdoch, but Cade grabs the ref arm before the 3 count can come down. BOOOO-URRNS!

Backstage, Masters and Carlito plot for the last ever on Spike TV.

Eugene w/HBK bear doll vs. Rob Conway for the last ever on Spike TV.
Eugene airplane spins and bites some ass. He taunts Conway by putting on his sunglasses. Conway elbow drop gets 2. Eugene hulks up, but the Rock Bottom is blocked, but the spinebuster isn't. People's Elbow gets 2. He goes to tackle Conway ala Duggan, but Conway tears up the doll, and Ego Trips an upset Eugene for the pin. Solid. **

Smackdown Rebound with Batista/Eddie vs. MNM highlights, for the last ever on Spike TV.

RAW hype, for the last ever on Spike TV.

Carlito and Chris Masters vs. Shawn Michaels and John Cena in a Tables Match for the last ever on Spike TV.
Faces dominate to start. They pair off with Cena/Carlito on the outside and Masters/Michaels in the ring. They tease some table spots on the outside. Flying burrito(!) and Shawn accidentally superkicks the ref as we go to commercial. We return with more brawling, ths time with Carlito vs. HBK and Cena vs. Masters. Back in Masters press slams Shawn. Carlito sets up a title, but gets jacked up by Cena. Heels beat down Cena a bit. Masters suplexes Cena. They go to whip Cena into a table, but HBK saves him. Shawn back body drops Carlito, and Cena shoulder blocks Masters. Clothesline on Carlito and bulldog on Masters. Double 10 count punch. Double slam. Double 5 knuckle shuffle. Shenanigans ensue with Bischoff and Angle coming out, and Angle pushes Shawn off a turnbuckle through a table for the win. He Angle Slams Cena through a table for good measure. Bischoff holds the title around. *** for the last ever on Spike TV.

Overall Thoughts: Solid last ever RAW on Spike TV. Next week is shaping up to be great. See you on USA, and yes, I'm done with that joke.
