Had a GREAT time at Legends of the Ring today! Everybody was great and everything ran smoothly. Bruno Sammartino was a Class Act as usual, and so was Jimmy Snuka who I met for the first time. Bob Backlund was a little weird, but very polite and accommodating. Powers of Pain were really friendly, especially Warlord. Mr. Fuji was very quiet, but friendly if you initiated a conversation. Howard Finkel was really appreciative and made sure to sign wherever I wanted. Mene Gene was awesome! The guy was hilarious. Brutus Beefcake showed up unexpectedly and he was a really cool guy. Then of course you have Ric Flair. A True Class Act!
My only negative from the show would be Jake Roberts. When I got up to him I placed my WM 5 poster in front of him. He had a black marker in hand. I asked him if he could sign in silver because of the black background. As I asked him I realized he was going to sign in black on the Gold "V". When I noticed this, I said "Oh thats fine if you want to sign on the V". He seemed to get annoyed from this and dropped the black marker and asked me kind of sarcastically what I wanted signed and if I wanted him to sign his name or mine. Then asked if I wanted the English version or the French. It was a little weird. But other than that it was a great experience.
