……

Hi Georgie,

Just wanted to send in a quick report on the Patriot/Traci Brooks signing that went down yesterday at George's Collectibles in Levittown, PA.  My cousin, her fiance and I went and, for the most part, we had a good time.

The pluses?  George is fair with his prices and a nice guy.  It didn't cost an arm and a leg to get autographs and pictures.  Speaking of pictures, I also liked the fact that George isn't one of those people who INSISTS you get a Polaroid with the stars, rather than use your own camera.  I still don't understand why some show runners do that, especially when fans pay extra to get their picture taken with the talent.  This isn't 1982, folks.

The Patriot and Traci Brooks were nice, as well, chatting with fans and being INCREDIBLY personable.  They had no qualms personalizing items -- a big-time plus in my book.

The downside?  Well, I know this isn't George's fault, but it bears mentioning.  There were three fans at the store--one of which looked like an indy wrestler and Joey Abs's Mini-Me to boot--who seemed to enjoy goading Traci and The Patriot into arguments, usually involving the differences between WWE and TNA.  It wasn't like they were engaging in intelligent banter about wrestling, they were legitimately setting out to cause a scene.  At one point, Traci had to get up and walk around the store just to get away from these guys.  After we left the store, we stopped at a nearby pizza parlor and they came in and were chuckling and bragging to each other about how they got everyone so riled up.  Really left a sour taste with us.

We're planning on stopping by George's for another signing in the future.  We just hope those three instigators aren't present.

Take care,   Rob
