Dear Georgie,
I attended the signing of the legendary Road Warrior Animal of L.O.D. and TNA Knockout Traci Brooks that was held last Sunday in St. Charles, IL by Klingerpromotions and On The Mat. It was a lot of fun. A good crowd of loyal wrestling fans were able to meet and spend quality time with two great talents from the wrestling world. The Holiday Inn Express in downtown St. Charles provided a fan-friendly atmosphere that made the signing more enjoyable. I've been to many signings that are in lousy bars or cheap venues but this was a very nice place.
Ms. Brooks actually did a luncheon before the signing with some fans who wanted to spend extra time with her. I wasn't able to do the luncheon but heard it was a neat experience. To have lunch with a beautiful Knockout and hear stories would be a great experience.
I personally have met Ms. Brooks several times and she is so wonderful each time. You could see the glow in her eye as she talked about her upcoming marriage. She is someone that you can never meet too many times. Animal was also very personable and enjoyed swapping old wrestling stories or talking about his son James who plays for the St. Louis Rams. Animal seemed honored when I showed him an old RAW magazine that had LOD on the cover and it was already signed by his late partner Hawk. Hawk signed my magazine back in 2000 and now Animal signed it almost a decade later. How cool is that!
Klingerpromotions always puts on quality signings with a fun atmosphere. I'd go again to another one of their signings.
