REPORT FROM JESSE VENTURA SIGNING IN CA.

Hi Georgiann!Just got back from the Jesse Ventura signing in West Hollywood, CA.
He was fantastic, super friendly and willing to sign anything. He
spoke for about 45 mins. to an hour, with some Q&A at the end and is
as fascinating as ever. During the Q&A he was asked if he missed
wrestling or still kept in touch with anyone from the old days. He
said, "No and no." Then elaborated that when he's done with
something he prefers to move on to other things. Said he still keeps
in touch with Steve Strong (who painted his Governor's portrait that
hangs in the MN capitol). He was also asked if he ever wrestled
Bruiser Brody while in the AWA and he said no, but he did run into
him a few times in MN.
After he spoke he signed copies of his book (which while thumbing
through I noticed mentioned Vince McMahon in the beginning) and he
also signed my LJN figure of him. A great signing! Thanks for
listing them, if it hadn't been for WrestlingFigs I would have missed
out! You've helped me greatly expand my Signed LJN collection!
