REPORT FROM SUPER MEGA FEST REPORT

Hi Georgie,I went to Supermegafest day one in Framingham MA.
When I go to the Sheraton Hotel, I saw wrestlers walking down the
corridor to gain access to the ballroom for the Festival. Molly Holly,
So Cal Val, Gorgeous George, Bruno Sammartino and George the Animal
Steele walked by.
A "fan" asked So Cal Val as she was making her way to the event while
they were scoping out in the hotel lobby for an autograph and she said
"no" simply because she's signing for a fee inside.
9:30 is when they let the "early bird" advance tix holders in and 10:30
for the regular admission.
The ballroom is not that large if you factor in dealers, celebrities
and fans all in one area. The extended the festival to other rooms. They
made one room w all wrestlers. The ballroom did have some wrestlers.
Those who were in the main room were: Bruno Sammartino, Tammy Lynn
Sytch, Jimmy Hart, and George Steele.
I got a chance to finally meet Bruno, Jimmy and George. There were nice
and willing to talk. Jimmy was discussing the Hogan Celeb wrestling
stating that Goldberg was the special guest on last nights show. Bruno
had some italian patries with him and George was fun. The posed photo
shot will be a geat memory.
It was nice to see Tammy for the umpth time.
Oh yeah, Virgil was in the main room too, but i'm not fond of him and
his hawking of his memento's.
Anyways, all these guests were there at 9:30-10am or so ready to meet
fans.
In the wrestling section room the guests were:
Terri Runnels, Ryan Shamrock, Jackie Gayda Haas, Lance Storm, Velvet
Sky, Angelina Love, ODB, Nunzio, Roxxi, Traci Brooks, Dawn Marie,
Cherry, Molly Holly, Georgeous George,So Cal Val and last minute
addition - Beefcake.
Not everyone was there early on. Some were there at 10 and some came a
lil later b/c of the promoters who got them to appear.
I noticed that Gorgeous George and So Cal Val left at noon and were done
for the day. I thought I overheard So Cal Val saying she was leaving on
Saturday at 2pm to catch a flight out and isn't come on Sunday.
I had a chance to meet Lance Storm who was next to Jackie Gayda. Lance
wasn't the social fan friendly butterfly. Jackie had engaged him a convo
and I didn't get a chance to get a word to him. He just signed the item
and boom I was done.
I met ODB and she was a hoot, She didnt bring the flask nor was she
drinking this time around as the fans at the show noted and she was
drinking some tea that we got on her case about. She was making some
cracks about her photos, "both have me and my flask but this photo shows
my boobs" go figure she'd say that.
Nunzio was cool to meet. I talked to him about the FBI/ECW days and the
current ECW/WWE brand that is out now.
I met Traci Brooks next and the promoter had a combo deal in which if you
get a 8x10 plus a 4x6 print out photo that she'd sign also.
Dawn Marie is the next table to Traci and while doing my photo op, Dawn
being her typical self stated "dont grab his "tush"" and blah blah.
There was a brief thing about that and Traci made some comment about
this and that regarding the topic and hip checks blah blah.
it was a fun yet awkward moment that goes back to April when I met Dawn
Marie at a local wrestling show.
My last guest of the day was Molly Holly. She had a thing set up that you
can get a posed 4x6 photo. I had that done and I was told to wait 10
min. In the end, the printer wasnt working and I waited about 2 hours
and was told that i'd get a refund. I wasn't thrilled about the
situation. Molly gave some index card that has her sig w a lipstick kiss
thing for my troubles.
Beefcake was there, I wanted to talk to him about what you posted about
him wanting flyers for a project he was doing but he was busy doing an
interview when I had free time. i still have not heard from that guy
that was helping Brutus out. I had sent him a flyer a few ago and I dont
know if he got it or not.
P.S Talia aka Vevlet Sky and Angelina Love still dont get off their
butts to pose w fans? geez, everyone else, even Bruno and George Steele
did..Geez. Oh well.
Thats my report, If I had a digital camera and not a regular camera that
I develop film myself for future events, I would have enclosed all the
toots from the event.
