I attended the AAA press conference on Olvera St. in Los Angeles on thursday.  It was short, sweet, and lasted about 1 hour at most.  Konnan, Zorro, and Octagon were there to represent AAA.  Also in attendance were representatives from local sponsors El Mexicano, Lucha Libre USA, and others. 

Attendance was very low with maybe 12 members of different media at the most.  The only 'fans' in attendance were my family and another family that left before it officially began.  Konnan, Zorro, and Octagon all took the time to speak to all the reporters as well as take pictures and sign autographs for anyone who asked.  It worked out great to come to the press conference because I did not plan on attending the show in Los Angeles on sunday due to financial concerns(ticket prices for 4 and gas for a 3 hour round trip), so I opted to show my support for AAA by coming to the press conference instead and was blessed with free tickets for my whole family from one of the AAA representatives as a 'thank you' for supporting the press conference.  They were a complete class act all the way around, even offering my family free food from the restaurant, as the press conference was held inside and catered by El Paseo Mexican Restaurant.  This was a completely wonderful experience.  I have been a fan of AAA for many years watching on Galavision every weekend.   I just wish they could have had more time to promote the event and have tickets be on sale longer than 3 weeks so more fans could have been aware of the wonderful opportunity of AAA coming to Los Angeles for the first time in over 10 years.
