The Motor City Comic Con always has a few wrestlers as celebrity guests. This year was no different, but it was very different. The five wrestling stars all had excellent to elite careers individually, but collectively they were arguably the most successful and best known faction in wrestling history.
The MCCC 2016 presented a rare opportunity to meet Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and JJ Dillon. This is the greatest incarnation of the Horsemen.
I talked to people from several different states who made the
trip specifically for the Four Horsemen and the Horsemen did not disappoint.
They arrived on time and were in great spirits. They seemed genuinely happy to
be there together and the fans were going crazy all weekend. I lost count of
how many "Wooooo's" I heard throughout the convention. Even people who were
previously ambivalent to wrestling (like my friend Cuzz) were seen flashing the
famous four finger hand sign.
There might only be one picture with wrestlers from the Motor
City Comic Con, but it is an epic one.
