Hello Georgiann,

I thought you might like a report from the SBG signing in Berlin, Ct. on 5/7.
     A small but enthusiastic crowd gathered at Ken's
card and collectibles to get a glimpse of the
Superstar.  When he didn't arrive at 7pm as
advertised, some of us speculated that he might not
show due to the fall he took in the hotel bathroom, as
reported on wrestlingfigs.  However, the owner of the
store assured us that SBG and Scott Epstein were on
their way and would arrive shortly.  At about 8
o'clock, they were there.
    Billy (or should I say Wayne?) was very personable
and friendly with everyone as Scott set things up for
the signing.  The store had a large screen tv with
some of Billy's matches playing, and Billy seemed
genuiously happy to watch them, doing commentary for
the crowd as he battled it out with Dusty Rhodes.  I
got a kick out of listening to SBG talk to the little
kids as Dusty shook his ample backside on screen!
    When the signing started, Billy announced that he
was cutting the price of pics with him as a way of
saying "thank you" to all who had waited.  I felt this
was a cool gesture on his part.  He spent time with
eash person, talked about organ donation, answered
questions, etc. and was just a nice guy all the way
around.
    SBG appeared rather impressed with my robe, and
even wanted a picture of me wearing it.  Imagine
that--Billy wanted a photo of me!  That was very
humbling, not to mention flattering.  Billy then
signed all of my stuff, and affirmed my opinion that
he was and is one of the best of all time.
    I look forward to seeing SBG again, and recommend
wrestling fans everywhere get to one of his signings.
If you have half as much fun as I did, you will have a
blast.
