Hi.
I went to the Batista book signing in Overland Park, KS. yesterday - 10/23/07.
Despite my friend and I getting lost twice on the way there, we made it to Borders book store at around 11:45. Batista was running late due to traffic, and didn't show up until about 12:20. If I had to guess there were around 150-200 people that showed up over the course of the autograph session. The line moved fairly quickly and Batista seemed either tired or just very quiet. Either way he was very nice/polite.
I was expecting the "asshole" Batista that I heard he can be at autograph sessions, but instead I got a very tame "Animal". To every question I asked him he almost whispered/mumbled his response. My friend said he did the same with him. He was also seemed very shy about signing the chest of the woman that was in front of me.
Overall, I'm glad that I went and met him.
