Hi I went to the Chiller Theatre convention on Saturday Apr. 26 right off the bat this place was crowded its the Hulk Hogan Big Event crowd multiplied by a 1000. There was a mile long line outside the hotel just to buy a ticket and then you jump on a second mile long line if you have a ticket already. I purchased my ticket weeks in advance and waited maybe about an hour+ on the with tickets line luckily I got in before they stopped letting people in because of the fire marshal’s orders once inside it was shoulder to shoulder of people and some of the rooms were just not big enough to handle all that people.
The crowds were coming in mostly because of some of the bigger stars from The Walking Dead and Sons Of Anarchy shows etc. Its a great convention with so many different choices so there was a lot of fans to be expected but probably more than they predicted.
I had my game plan worked out and got my pics and autographs I wanted with very minimal waiting. I got pics with Candice Michelle, Celeste Bonin fka Kaitlyn, Gail Kim and Christy Hemme to add to my Divas collection and from The Walking Dead Norman Reedus and Jon Bernthal from Sons Of Anarchy Tommy Flanagan, David Labrava and Kristen Renton from Baywatch Nicole Eggert would have loved to have gotten more like Road Warrior Animal but I hit my spending limit.
Lot of the handlers I always see at wrestling conventions: Lucky 13, Sportsfan Promotions, Big Event and Seduttos Signings etc. were there and they were all great and treated me well. Despite the huge crowd I got everything I wanted and even able to chat to a few stars that I saw and would definitely do it again.
