I always say that Days of the Dead is a great place to meet and spend a little extra time with wrestlers.  Days of the Dead Louisville featured a few wrestlers in their celebrity lineup and a couple who came as fans.

Road Warrior Animal was the first wrestler Liza and I met.  Animal let Liza pose with his trademark shoulder pads.  He kidded her about them matching her tiara.  Accompanying Animal was Tommy Hunter, who asked for his own picture because he sees me often here on WrestleFigs.com.

Next up was the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley.  Mick's line moves a bit slow, because he really engages each person in conversation.  Nobody complains about the wait, because everyone spends extra time with him.  Mick talked to us about a series of tweets between him and Elvira. Mick was also featured in a panel moderated by Ed Gonzales, the Day's wrestling expert.

TNA's Crazzy Steve and Rebel shared a table.  The pair promoted TNA Impact, while talking and laughing with fans.  These are two who you wouldn't usually see at a horror con, but that's part of the charm of Days.  It delivers what the fans want.
In a bit of a surprise, Mike Bucci (aka Nova, SuperNova, Simon Dean) came to hang with his friends, including Ed Gonzales and Hardcore Heather Owens.  Bucci brought along Aron Rex (aka Damien Sandow).  Aron gladly posed for pics with anyone who asked.  Bucvci is always great and Aron could not have been any nicer.

As I wrote, Days might get some grief for bringing wrestlers into a horror con, but the lines of fans and their reactions seem to indicate Days is doing it right.  The next Dyas event is in Chicago in November and it will feature The Nature Boys Ric Flair!
