I went to the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) on Saturday to see Diamond Dallas Page, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Booker T.  Unfortunately, Booker cancelled his appearance, but DDP and Jake were there as scheduled. There really wasn't much of a line when we got there around 90 minutes after it opened, which was really nice.

Both guys were extremely friendly and very personable and made sure to engage in conversation with every fan.  I have no complaints at all about either guy.  They couldn't have been more accommodating to the fans.  The only complaint I have is that the C2E2 website listed both as "free signings", so when Jake told me it would be $20 for the autograph, it caught me a little off guard.  But I've been to lots of signings before, so i knew what to expect price-wise. Both were worth the price, so it wasn't an issue. I think it was more the fault of the event coordinators, not the talent.

By the way, the title belt was DDP's actual belt he had in WCW. It was a little heavier than I expected, and it was really cool to get a chance to hold it.  As I said, both guys were great and very friendly. I asked Page how Scott Hall was doing and he said everything was going great and hopefully he should be able to really get going in a month or so. I wasn't a huge fan of DDP, but after meeting him and getting to talk with him for a while, I have to say I'm a big fan of his now. If you get a chance to meet either or both of these guys, I highly recommend it.

Here are a couple photos.
