Hello,
I attended the Finn Balor signing yesterday at HMV Canada. I got there at around 1130 and there was only a few people in line. They started handing out wristbands at around 1:45. Once they handed them out they advised we should come back around 430 as the signing didn’t start until 5. Wanting to be one of the first ones, we stayed the whole time in line as mostly everyone else left for a couple hours. Smart move as it turns out because by 4:30, there was probably 250 people in line. So because we stayed we were about 10th in line instead of almost in the back lol. Also for anyone who ever attends signings at stores I highly recommend bringing outdoor lawn chairs. Us and only maybe one or two other people had that idea which was very beneficial as we avoided having to stand for 4 or 5 hours like most everyone else.
They took us downstairs in a spate room almost looked like a basement. He was there on time and the dude was awesome. Throwing up the “too sweet” as soon as he came out from the curtain. The only drawback was that HMV didn’t allow you to take photos with your own camera, as they had their own professional cameraman taking photos (similar to WrestleMania Axxess) which is the reason that the pictures of Finn and myself are from the side and we’re not looking at that camera. I had my Replica NXT belt and gave my fiancé the duty of getting my Elite figure signed. When I got up there he said “Wow nice, belt looks familiar.” I said “You’re getting it back though on June the 8th” in which he replied with simply “you can count on it!” hahaha which Im sure he has to say whether its true or not. Overall we had to wait a long time to see him but well worth it and very well run by the HMV staff members. You really cant complain much for a free signing and especially with someone who by next year IMO will be in the WWE world title picture.
Thank You,
James Wallace
