Last night, we crossed the Wisconsin border to Cedarburg for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s “Golden Days” featuring Terri Runnels. The Circle B Rec center was packed early for the meet-and-greet with Terri and she was awesome.

As I approached her table, she immediately shouted “Jay Leno,” her name for me. We hugged as we both talked about how far back we go and how long it’s been since we saw each other (coincidentally, it was at GLCW Blizzard Brawl 2012, we think). As we chatted a bit, Terri grabbed my hand and said, “Let’s run around the ring.” Off we went, running a lap around the ring, Terri in heels and me thinking “I’m running around a ring with Terri Runnels.” It was the usual fun with Terri. Granted Terri spent extra time with me because we go back, but she also gave quality time to everyone in line.
I caught up with Linda Kay, the star of last month’s Blizzard Brawl. I interviewed her about a possible return to the ring and she did not rule out more in-ring action. I also chatted with The Fanny Pack Party Dustin Jackson and Kal Herro, Mr. Pec-Tacular Jessie Godderz, Jordan Kross, GLCW tag champs Ryan Kross and Jeff Luxon and #SuperFriend David Herro.
The Fanny Pack Party won the GLCW tag team titles in a fantastic match. Next month at GLCW’s Too Cool featuring Scotty 2 Hotty, the Fanny Pack Party will be part of a six man tag match. Also appearing next month is Natalya Markova.

Golden Days was a great show. I look forward to my next time at GLCW.
