JayHawk Evans and I attended the Heroes and Legends of Professional Wrestling VI in Fort Wayne, IN.  It was held in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, which also houses the Fort Wayne Komets hockey team.  The facility is beautiful, spacious and offers plenty of parking.

Prior to the night of wrestling action, we met several of the legendary wrestlers. We talked football with Road Warriors Animal, commenting that we wish his son had signed with our Chicago Bears instead of the New Orleans Saints. Animal said he would have liked Chicago, but he was excited about New Orleans.

Too Cold Scorpio and Tommy Rich laughed and chatted with the fans.Tracy Smothers was also in a great mood, and later won the tag team championship with Bobby Fulton.  Smothers also brought up Resistance Pro in Chicago, since he recognized me from his appearance there a while back.We talked with Colt Cabana. about his podcast and his latest projects.Billy Gunn and Tatanka were also very fan friendly and both looked to be in great shape.

Lastly, I finally met Jayson Maples, the man behind the whole event.  We talked a bit about (what else?) wrestling. After the fan fest, there were eleven excellent matches, including a 20 man battle royal won by my bud Sugar Dunkerton, who went on to win the Cruiserweight title later in the night. It was a solid show and the crowd was super hot all night long.
