….

Hey Georgie,

This was my first Legends of the Ring event and boy did it ever make an impression! The event was amazing, LOTR and vendor guests alike. First and foremost I must highly commend the staff of Franklin Square Video. I had some issues with the way things were run at Signamania and a signing at their store. I was taken aside and given a personal and heart-felt apology for my dissatisfaction. It was true class on their part.

As for my reports on the guests:

Angle- I didn't actually meet him but walked by outside when he was waiting for his car to arrive. He didn't look well. He seemed more exhausted than he did high.

Sabu- was definately on something. I heard him earlier talking about going out back and smoking something. Still it was nice to meet him again.

So Cal Val- Very sweet girl. Very chatty and cool to meet.

Jimmy Snuka- It was my first time meeting Superfly and he was very cool. I got to talk to him for about a minute. He seemed genuily interested in how things were going.

Roxxi- Roxxi was kind. Felt bad cause it seemed like no one really wanted to meet her.

Kid Kash- Cool Guy. Asked what belt I had, so he could sign it right.

Nunzio- Same as Kash.

Stamboli- Would have been awesome if he had his Rellik mask, but oh well. Still a nice guy.

Koko B Ware- Seemed very arrogant to me. I asked him about his bird at the HOF and he seemed bitter towards WWE.

Slaughter- I've been trying to meet Sarge for about 4 years now. Each time he is around I'm busy with prior commitments. It was cool to get put in the Cobra clutch.

Eric Bishoff- I don't know how anyone could say he was in poor spirits. With me wearing my Magic stuff he told me they were going down to LA. I got something signed for a friend from Canada so he wrote a cool inscription in his book for him. Very awesome guest.

Lita- Her line was LONG for atleast 2 hours! Luckily I was waiting for Sting at that time. By the time I was done with Sting, Her line was no longer than 5 people. She was nice and I was happy to finally meet her.

Sting- last but not least the icon was the hilight for me. It was great to get him in full gimmick. He talked to me about the Magic and his brother's church.

My only complant is how the Sting line ended up being run. They were to call people in order in blocks of 25. After 2 blocks went in, it was first come, first serve. Seemed a bit out of control, but Every event has to have some sort of kink that gets worked out.

Thanks LOTR staff and Frankin Square Video for a great day!

-Dan
