MWF Wrestling Celebrate Their 10th Anniversary with a Bash!!!

On Saturday night, September 17 MWF Wrestling presented their 10 year anniversary at the Melrose's Memorial Hall, in Melrose MA. After months of planning the staff and wrestlers opened the doors to many local wrestling fans looking forward to a night of great wrestling action, meet and greets with the wrestlers and so much more.
Doors opened at the Memorial Hall around 5:30pm for a special VIP meet and great with many of the top wrestling stars. Stars included Tony Atlas, Abyss, Carlito, The Boogeyman, Low-Ki, Paul Bearer, and Tony Garea.
WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas is a former WWE tag team champion with Rocky Johnson, father of The Rock. Abyss is a current TNA superstar and is part of Hulk Hogan's Immortal group, during his time in TNA he has held the World Heavyweight Title and the X-Division Championship. Carlito is a former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion, along with his brother the held the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Boogeyman is a former WWE superstar that competed on Raw, Smackdown and the New Breed of ECW. Low-ki, also known as Kaval, won the second WWE NXT, he also held TNA X-Division Championship and TNA Tag Team Championship. WWE icon The Undertaker was lead to the top in the world of pro wrestling by Paul Bearer. Paul Bearer is also the father of WWE superstar Kane. Tony Garea is a true WWE legend, holding the World Tag Team Titles on many times with different partners, he is also a former WWE high-ranking official in their main office.
The fans were able to get photo with and autographs of the wrestlers. Many of the fans were able to ask their favorite wrestlers many different questions. This was a very fan friendly event. During the meet and greet different matches took place to entertain the fans as they waited to meet the wrestlers or waited for the main show to start at 7pm.
The opening match saw two of the top wrestlers in the New England scene square off as current Northeast Wrestling Champion Matt Taven defeated Scott Reed in a very athletic contest to kick off the night.
"The East Coast Cowboy" DJ Dubay has been belittle the WWE Hall of Famer "Mr USA" for weeks, but could not defeat Tony Atlas. Tony Atlas landed a huge headbut on the "Cowboy" to score the victory.
Dylan Kage came to the ring with something under a sheet. Kage wanted to thank his uncle, Percy Pringle (formerly known as Paul Bearer). Pringle came to the ring and under the sheet was an urn to thank him for all the years of leadership Percy gave to Dylan. Pringle would then call out the spoke man of MWF, Dan Mirade. The pair began to taunt Mirade, who needs a cane to help get around after a car accident many years ago. Mirade was about to hit KAge with his cane when MWF president and Chairman of the Championship board John Cena Sr arrived to the building and with two announcements. The first was that starting in April of 2012 MWF would be moving it's offices to North Carolina where they have been having events for the last few years, it is unsure at this time if MWF will have events in New England after April 2012. The second announcement is that at they next event Soul Survivor in March of 2012, Dan Mirade will could face off with the man that caused him so much personnel problems, Dylan Kage. Head official Tony Stevens tied to make John Cena Sr, renounce his decision because of Mirade's well known injuries.
Carlito proved that the "Biggest of them all" Benny Jux is not cool by hitting him with the back cracker and spitting an apple in his face. Jux then attacked the former WWE United States Champion after the match from behind. MWF TV Champion Brian Fury made the save. When Carlito got to his feet he looked at Fury and said he did not need his help and attacked Fury. The two fought all the way to the locker room before being pulled apart.
In a purest dream match, Low-ki defeated John Walters in a very back and forth contest. It was not until Walters made one mistake and Low-ki was about to get the win.
The Boogeyman made short work of Lukas Sharp. Bookeyman chased Sharp and referee Tony S out of the ring many times before Sharp jumped the Boogeyman from behind but he was able to counter the attack and the worm eating superstar was able to get the win. After the match the Boogeyman had a number of fans join him in the ring to celebrate his victory.
During intermission they were a number of raffles to raise money for different local charities. Also during intermission local stars Matt Taven, Scott Reed and others did a meet and greet with the fans.
After intermission was the 6 man war match. The team of Dylan Kage, Rick Fuller, and Brian Milonas with Paul Bearer faced off against the team of Abyss, Demon and Todd Hanson. When the match started Todd Hanson was announced he would not be able to wrestle because of a should injury that happen during a cage match in RI. It would be 2 on 3. The 3 men would first focus on The Demon. Demon would fight off one but then the other two would attack him as the ref would push Abyss back to his side of the ring. When Abyss finally got the tag he would clean house of Kage and Milonas but Rick Fuller would jump him from behind and the 3 on 1 would happen this time to Abyss. Abyss was able to slam Kage and try to get the tag to Demon who was still down on the outside from his attack. Todd Hason who was sitting in the crowd ran to the ring because he could not take it any long tagged in and was a house of fire. Hanson would hit a sidewalk slam on Dylan Kage and get the victory for his team.
In a Champion vs Champion match "Slyck" Wagner Brown the MWF Heavyweight Champion would face Brian Fury the MWF TV Champion. As a special bonus to the match wrestling legend Tony Garea would be the special guest time keeper. Fury was just that a fury in the ring against the Heavyweight champion, Fury gave it all to win the Heavy weight title of the MWF. Wagner would use all his dirt trick to fight off the challenger. After a Wagner Brown hooked a Texas Clover-leaf and Fury would not quit, Slyck went for the time keeper bell. Wrestling legend Tony Garea would punch the champion who would turn into a superkick. Brian Fury went for a cover but Slyck kicked out at 2. Fury went for a high risk but Brown was able to turn it into a sit down powerbomb. 1-2-3 followed and Slyck would remain champion.
John Cena Sr would return tot he ring and say that he had final say and would not stand for Wagner Brown as champion. Slyck would attack Cena, this caused many of the MWF star to hit the ring followed by Slycks partners in the "Uprising". Brawls where happening everywhere, everyone was fighting. Low-Ki would attack the champion with a number of kicks and slams. Low-ki then hit the top rope and land a double stomp to the chest of Wagner. Low-ki laid on top of Wagner and Cena Sr counted the 3. Low-ki looked shocked as he was announced the NEW MWF CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cent Sr. told the ring announcer that a Chairman of the Championship Board he made it official that Low-Ki is the official MWF Heavyweight Champion. Low-ki went on to celebrate with the fans that where also in shock of what just happened.
