I found out about this event last minute and decided to give it a go after TJ's baseball practice was cancelled due to rain.

 Lucha Libre NY had brought in Lucha Underground stars AAA champ Pentagon Jr and Fenix for a headline matchup on their debut event in NYC yesterday Sunday 7/24 at LaBoom. I had seen advertisements for it and had considered attending but ultimately did not after having attended the Dean Ambrose signing at adventureland on Saturday (great and accurate report you already received on that one)

They posted on Facebook that night that the two Lucha stars would be appearing Monday night at Rancho Grande Restaurant in Yonkers at 6pm signing free autos and free pics. I called Rancho Grande this afternoon and confirmed the appearance, and made dinner reservations. Took 6 of us 3 adults and 3 kids under 10 for dinner and to meet the luchadors who were fantastic. Not only was the food outstanding and service great plus kids 10 n under free on Mondays with adult meal purchase but both the server and manager came by our table multiple times to update us on their arrival which ended up being an hour after advertised however both signed and willingly took all kinds of photos upon arrival.

They had event posters from the prior days show they were freely signing and in some cases personalizing on the backs as they had already signed the front their respective pics. In looking around restaurant, there were many signed photos from celebrity guests which leaves me hopeful of an excuse to return to a great place.
