On Friday, April 25, Resistance Pro returned to the Barn in Willowbrook with "Don't Tread."  A raucous crowd was into the action all night long.

The matches:
1-"The Muay Thai Warrior" COBRA (managed by Justin King) pinned "Simply Sexy" Shawn Blaze after R Pro owner Jacques Baron made it a 3-way by adding "The Southern Savior" John Skylar.
2-Angel Dust and Samantha Heights defeated Lucy Mendez and Amanda Rodriguez, despite a knee injury taking out Heights.
3-The returning Mr. 450 got revenge on "The Ego" Robert Anthony (the man who beat him in a "loser leaves R Pro match a year ago) by getting a pinfall via a rollup.
4-Body Magic's Ashton Vuittyon and Brady Pierce (lead to the ring by Eric St. Vaughn and Ray Lyn) defeated the Two Star Heroes "Big C" Chris Castro and "Marvelous" Matt Knicks, who seem to have dissension in the ranks.
5-Warden Myers introduced his new team of Christopher (Chris Hall) and Remi Wilkins as replacements for Epic who refused to fight his LockUp partner.  Despite the odds, Suge D won the match and his freedom.
6-An "injured" Jake O'Neill confronted his opponent Scotty Young in the ring.  O'Neill tried to choke out Young with his "sling."  Security separated the two and the match never actually happened.
7-Da Soul Touchaz, managed by C Red, Acid Jaz and Willie "da Bomb" Richardson  defeated the Painkillers with their manager Eryn.
8-In a "First Blood" Women's championship match, Mickie "Moose" Knuckles defeated D'Arcy Dixon, by smearing her own blood on to Dixon, fooling the ref into believing Dixon bled first.  Knuckles ended Dixon's long reign as champ.
9-R Pro champ Jocephus beat "Mr. M80" Marshe Rockett (managed by C Red) in a "2 out of 3 Falls" match by winning falls 1 and 3.  C Red argued with Referee Robert King after the match.

The next event, "Savage Amusement" will be on Friday, May 16 at the Barn in Willowbrook.  The special guest will be Justin Credible.

Random notes
Members of the Chicago Bliss (2013 Legends Football League champions) were once again on hand posing and signing autographs.  The ladies will open their season May 9.

The pictures
I got pictures with Warden Myers, C Red, Mr. 450, Marshe Rockett and Miss Prig.  Bliss Head Coach Keith Hac posed with Body Magic's Ray Lyn.  Katy Massey, Jess Price and Jamie Barwick of the Bliss pose with several young fans.
