Greetings!
Last summer J&J Collectibles put on the 1st South Jersey Fan Fest and earlier today (4-11-09) they put on their second fan fest. First off, special thanks to Joe (the promoter) and Jose Hernandez Jr (star of the show Oz) for the duck tape needed to keep my camera in one piece! Now on to the good stuff! All of the stars, from Francine to Jon Heidenreich to April Hunter to Paul London to Ryan Shamrock to Hillbilly Jim were all extremely friendly and a pleasure to meet. The real standout (and I would say star of the show) was not for WWE Diva Victoria (who was awesome), it was John Cena Sr who appeared to have a lot of fun talking with not only the fans, but the other stars as well (while occasionaly dropping some John Jr like rhymes). Some other highlights include the raffle where one of younger fans in attendance won an Tito Santana autographed plaque, seeing Ray Apollo both inin makeup as Doink (during the show) and out of makeup (after the show at Red Hot & Blue), and the special attention those fans who were handicapped got from the stars (Francine, Ryan Shamrock and John Cena Sr were awesome interacting with younger fans). All in all, a highly enjoyable show and I'm already looking forward to if and when J&J Collectibles puts on Fan Fest III.
