Hello,
I attended the Philadelphia Wizard World Comic Con this past weekend, and purchased the John Cena/Batista VIP package. First I must say for the money, it was a great experience. On Saturday for Batista I made sure to show up early, and they way they do it at these Wizard World Cons, you take the photo-op first and then after that you go to a completely different table set-up and wait for the celeb to be done with the photo ops and they then do the autograph portion. So needless to say if you’re at the front of the line for the photo-ops, you will be first in line for the autograph portion as well. I was about 4th or 5th in line for photo ops and autographs. The staff at the Comic Con were very nice and efficient in getting everyone through, to take their photo and have an item autographed. Now, unlike other conventions, you really didn't have time to interact too much with the talent because there was so many people, but still a very well worth-it experience.
On Sunday for Cena, again I was about 7th in line for photo-ops and had the fiancée’ hold my place in line for the autograph, so I was first for that portion. I don't think Ive ever seen more people to meet a wrestler than today, there were at least 300 VIP’s and another 200-250 general admissions to meet Cena. Unbelievable, its a wonder the guy has any energy after doing this stuff and especially today because the photo-ops started at 1030, the autographs at 1 and then he had to be at the WWE Live house show in Philly at 5 PM. The guy definitely earns his money and proved why he’s still the face of the company. All in all a great weekend, worth the entire 6 hour drive and a great show put on at the Philly Wizard World Comic Con. Definitely looking forward to next year
Thanks,
James Wallace
