…..

Thanks to Robert Finger of Brooklyn, NY for this Ring of Honor Report from Hammerstein.

I wanted to thank you again for the RoH tickets. I had an amazing time at the show. There was so much action but I managed to write up a report from the show, I know you sometimes post them so I figured I'd send it to you.

First match, Tag action featuring Kenny King & Rhett Titus vs. Roderick Strong & Erick Stevens. Pretty fun match, King and Titus had a few missteps, one of which was downright hilarious when Kenny King and Titus missed hands when going for a tag making for an Awkward fumble. Strong & Stevens win the match, which pleases the crowd.

Second match, Bobby Dempsey Vs. Scrap Iron Adam Pierce w/ Sara Del Ray.
Special guest time keeper, Gregory Olyphant from First Look on NBC. Scrap Iron comes out and makes fun of his blue and yellow bow tie.

For some reason the lights went out about 15 seconds in, they came back on and Pierce was attacking Dempsey, seconds later, DVD and Dempsey wins. Match was under a minute.

Dempsy & Olyphant rip their shirts off.

Third Match, Brent Albright Vs. Claudio Castagnoli.
Good match, Albright was pretty much the guy to cheer for though, that didn't stop people cheering Claudio. Albright locks on the Crippler Crossface, Claudio gets out and then Albright shots him with a few snot rockets. There is a time limit draw at the 15 Minute mark with both Albright and Claudio on their feet trading blows. This brings out security, and the refs. They stop the fight. Albright gets the crowd going "Let Them Fight", Claudio takes the mic and challenges him to 5 more minutes. It's on, Claudio low blows Albright. For a DQ. Albright wins, Claudio attacks anyone trying to get to the ring, he kicks a steel chair over the neck of Albright.

Match 4, Jerry Lynn vs. Lightning Mike Quackenbush.
Quack Quack is major over, Lynn doesn't get that well of a reception. It wasn't that he was booed, it was just like no one cared. Lynn hits the  Cradel Pile Driver for the win. Quack and Lynn shake hands, and trade holding each others arms up.

Match 5, Ultimate Endurance/Revolution Rules tag.
Jacobs, Aries & Lee vs. Delerious, Necro & Tyler Black
Awesome action, Tyler Black takes to the air knocking everyone down on the outside. Necro decideds to follow and hits a senton off the top. Necro immediately grabs his foot.

My brother notes his foot is bleeding, and swears something is sticking out of the back of it. I then noticed it too. Necro calls for some tape while the action continues. He tapes his foot up. Delrious eliminated. Next fall can not be won by submission. Necro and Lee fight in the crowd. Necro hits Lee with a "Section D" sign which starts a "Section D" chant. Necro and Lee leave ringside and are eliminated.

Jimmy Jacobs & Aries beat down Tyler Black. Aries & Jacobs get into it. Black eliminates Aries. Next match can't be won by Pinfall. Tyler makes Jacobs tap out for the win.

Intermission

Match 6, Bison Smith & Prince Nana to the ring. Prince Nana gets on the crowd. He introduces Bisons partner, The Crown Jewel of the Embassy Jimmy Rave. Rave gets a nice ovation. Am Drag's music hits. He runs out and attacks. He is getting beat down when his partner comes running out. Bison throws him to the floor and he is done. I don't honestly even know this guys name. He was wearing a Flannel shirt. Then Am Drag is getting attacked and Copa Cabana hits and the crowd errupts. Colt comes out and runs off The Embassy. He and Daneilson shake hands. The Embassy returns to the ring.

A lot of moments where Bison is just too strong for Colt to take down. Danielson takes Bison to the outside into the crowd. Danielson is up top, He takes off from the top rope all the way into the crowd onto Bison. Cabana rolls up Rave and gets a 3 count.

After the match Cabana: Copa Cabana was music to my ears, but I don't want to end the night like that, There is only one song I want to hear and it belongs to this man. He points at Am Drag and Final Countdown hits. AmDrag and Cabana have words in the middle of the ring. AmDrag goes to the top, Cabana steps up next to him. This happens several times. Finally AmDrag says one of them go to one corner, and the other to another as if they were racing. 3 They take off to the corners, but Cabana again follows AmDrag to the same corner and they both laugh. The Fans sing along with Final Countdown.

Match 7, Dlo Brown Vs. Jay Briscoe
Dlo grabs a Mic "We wish you the best in your future endeavors" I've only got 2 words to say to that "Thank you" because my future endeavors are here in Ring Of Honor. Briscoes come out. Pretty solid match, both men have a lot of respect for each other. Dlo goes for the sky high, but instead Low Blows Jay Briscoe. He puts his head down and helps Jay up only to heel turn and clothesline him back down. Dlo starts playing the heel, arguing with Mark on the outside.

Dlo hits Jay with some hard shots, one of which looked as if Jay lost a tooth. Dlo hits the Sky High for a 2. Jay comes back, misses with the leg drop from the top rope. Dlo rolls him up with a fist full of tights for the 3. Dlo and Mark get into it.

Match 8, RoH Tag Titles Steen & Generico (C) vs. The American Wolves with Sara Del Ray
Twelve Star match if possible. It was No DQ. Tons of insane and amazing moments in this one. Steen & Generico steal the show. Tons of false Finishes. A ladder is involved. Both Wolves get a Flipping Van Terminator from Generico to a ladder. Steen eventually gets the pinfall on One of the Wolves. After the match the Wolves attack. They hit Generico first sending him through a table with a move I can only describe as a Diamond Cutter/Doomsday device. They tie Steen to the top rope and take turns hitting his injured leg with a  chair. Steen who is busted open spits at both of them and then gets a Conchairto for his trouble. The Wolves hold up the tag belts and then leave.

It takes several minutes for Steen to be unties from the top. Jerry Lynn & Bobby Dempsy come and help carry him to the back.

Match 9, RoH championship. Nigel Vs. Kenta
Unbelivable match, Kenta is kicking the crap out of Nigel. Kenta with a Suplex into a Michinoko driver from the top rope. Tons of near falls. Both men teasing the GTS. Kenta finally hits it. Nigel gets his foot on the ropes. Nigel hits the GTS. Kenta kicks out. Kenta goes for another GTS, Nigel counters out into the submission. Kenta tries to fight Free, Nigel turns back pulling Kenta back. Kenta taps. Nigel remains champ.
