Hi Georgie,

We made our trek up to Poughkeepsie NY today for the Mick Foley Jimmy Snuka autograph session at Collector's Realm. Couldn't pass up seeing two of my favorite legends who have done so much in the Wrestling business.  The advertised signing time was to begin at 1 PM and would last until three. We got there at twelve thirty and a line was already forming and had about a hundred people on it. Taylor got on line as I went into the store to purchase the autograph tickets. As I entered the store I was directed to the counter which had a few people in front of me. Ticket prices were for Mick Foley $20 for your item, $25 for an 8 x 10, $25 for a Polaroid. Jimmy Snuka was $10 your item, $15 for a 8 X 10, $15 for a Polaroid. I purchased my tickets then joined Taylor on line. We waited on line for about a half an hour chatting with some friends we have made through the years.  Mick Foley arrived at 120 and drove up to a clapping applause from everyone on line. Once the line started moving it went pretty fast and before we knew it we made our way to the upstairs of another building where Mick and Snuka were signing. Once in the signing room, Mankind sat on one side of the room and Jimmy on the other. We went to Cactus first and were greeted very warmly by Mick who had two of his kids with him. I gave the lady who was collecting auto tickets, my tickets and Cactus began to sign my items. We chatted a little about his WCW days ( I had him sign my WCW tag belt) which I always enjoyed the most especially his run teaming with Abdullah against Sting in 1991. After Dude Love signed all of our items we shook hands, said our goodbyes. As we made our way over to the Superfly I couldn't stop thinking about his famous leap off the top of the cage at MSG so many years ago. Jimmy had his wife Carol with him and like Mick we were greeted with a  warm hello by the both of them. We talked a little about the WWE 24/7 and how Jimmy is on it quite a bit. After signing our items Jimmy thanked us for coming out and visiting with him. We left his table with smiles on our faces. To sum up today the staff over at Collectors Realm were very friendly and eager to help in any way they could. They were very well organized and got people in and out in a reasonable amount of time. You were not rushed and could chat with Mick and Jimmy which was great. I would say around 200 people showed up for this signing and I wouldn't hesitate to attend another Collector's Realm signing.

I was very honored to help work another great signing at  Collector's Realm with Mick Foley and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. Despite the heatwave we had a pretty long line of excited fans waiting to meet these two legends. Both superstars were very cordial and answered any questions that were thrown at them. They enjoyed stopping what they were doing for the photo ops. It was very cool to be in the same room with two legends that I grew up watching on TV and having a casual conversation with them. It was fun to play around with Mick's younger sons who were having alot of fun spinning around in the chairs and even signing some autographs with their dad. I was honored to be stationed at the Snuka table with Jimmy and his wife Carol who were two of the nicest people I've ever met. I give Jimmy major kudos because during the signing one of the fans waiting outside had passed out from the heat. When the Snukas found out Jimmy got right up and went down to the ambulance to meet him and see how he was doing. That right there showed a lot of class and is a prime example of how some wrestlers love and respect their fans.  I can't wait until the next signing and I hope the turn out is ever larger than ever.

Georgie,
As with the previous signings held at Collector's Realm in Poughkeepsie, NY, the Jimmy Snuka & Mick Foley autograph signing was another success.

The staff is very friendly and organized, and they offer a nice variety of photo's of the stars to purchase.

The line was around the block, but moved quickly.

Both Jimmy and Mick were friendly as usual, took time to pose for pix and talk to each fan. The staff did not rush anyone through the line and were more than happy to take pictures with the fans and wrestlers.

-Mike
