….

Hello, I would like to add a few things to what some people have said on the board. First, one gentlemen said if you don't like the high prices shut up and do something about it? In a way he is right, as long as people will pay $100 or more for an athlete the promoter is going to charge it and that shows there is demand for it and with that being the case they are going to continue to charge those prices. So simple solution, next time there is an inflated signing don't support it by buying a ticket.

Secondly, I am really big into collecting sports memorabilia and I have my limits personally and there are promoters that you can and can't trust. My advice is to join a nice sports collectors board and listen to what others have to say about the promoters. I personally belong to one and have learned a lot about authenticity of promoters, who is good/bad,etc. Plus a lot of wrestlers you can get if you do your homework without having to pay high fee's. Some do autos via their website for a small fee for example. I know of a few personally.

Lastly, When it comes to prices, I know someone who has summed it up pretty well, He has done signings with players, know players personally and has done his homework on this topic. It isn't the athletes charging these ridicilous prices it's the promoters who are paying the athlete a fee and then jacking it up to make money off of the show, but remember they to have to provide security, traveling expenses, rooms for these athletes to come to their show. I can tell you from my homework I have done on this subject when it comes to wrestlers especially the new guys, don't blame them on their high prices as it is not them and that is all I'm going to say as I have talked to promoters about why they don't get certain wrestlers and they explained to me and I'm not posting it here. I know one place that is great to deal with and that is George's Collectibles. The sports board I belong to I know a few members that deal with george because of his extremely FAIR prices and his reputation is OUTSTANDING. So I would say do your homework before you send something to a promoter as joining a sports collectors website will definitely teach you a lot. Like I said I belong to one.
