January 24th: The Steel Cage is loaded on the ring truck and the crew has left for the big show tomorrow night at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on 1043 S. Main St in Dayton, Ohio with a zip code of 45409. Belltime is 8pm and there will be tickets available at the door. The main event will see Chris Hero vs. Nigel McGuinness in a ROH World Title Steel Cage Match!!! In an interesting development, super agent Larry Sweeney has just negotiated for Hero to tour Pro Wrestling NOAH and miss ROH's 6th Anniversary Show in Manhattan. Hero says when he defeats Nigel that he will defend the belt in Japan on 2/23 instead of in NYC. Sweeney says that ROH better accept all his demands now because once Hero has the belt he will have all the leverage. Will ROH be at the mercy of Sweet & Sour Inc? They also feel they have a huge advantage as it will be nearly impossible for Nigel to execute the Jawbreaker Lariat inside the Steel Cage. The World Title will be in jeopardy in Dayton. It will be a monumental night as ROH aces and rivals Austin Aries & Bryan Danielson team up vs. Erick Stevens & Jay Briscoe in a dream partner tag team match. Can Aries & Danielson co-exist as a team and if so, how good can they be? Stevens has a tidal wave of momentum behind him after defeating both Aries and Danielson in singles matches earlier this month. Aries and Danielson want their win back. January 24th: We regret to announce that Jack Evans sustained facial injuries earlier this week in Japan and will be unable to compete this weekend. We will have an update with details as soon as we get one. Dayton will still see The Vulture Squad vs. The Briscoes. It will now be Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Jigsaw & Ruckus. There is another new twist on the Dayton show. The FIP World Heavyweight Title Match will now be a one fall Three-Way pitting Champion Erick Stevens vs. Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries. The first man to gain a fall will be your FIP World Heavyweight Champion!!! One more match has also been signed for tomorrow night in Dayton. The biggest feud in ROH women's wrestling history will come to Dayton as Lacey meets Daizee Haze one-on-one. Get your tickets at the door for this huge event.
January 24th: Brent Albright will now team with BJ Whitmer in the Ultimate Endurance in Chicago. This elimination match will now pit ROH World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black vs. Brent Albright & BJ Whitmer vs. Ruckus & Jigsaw vs. Davey Richards & Roderick Strong. The first fall with all four duos will be a Tag Team Scramble. The second fall with the remaining three teams can only be won when someone says "I Quit." The final fall with the last two teams will be for the ROH World Tag Team Titles. Can The Age Of The Fall survive another Ultimate Endurance after the show stealing one earlier this month in Boston?
January 24th: Speaking of The Age Of The Fall, they have been putting out some videos on rohvideos.com that seem to be trying to recruit someone. Tyler Black's blog at AgeOfTheFall.com seems to indicate that this has nothing to do with the mystery guy they have set to debut this weekend. We hope to get some answers in Dayton and Chicago.
